Well... Geddy was gorgeous as usual. We ended up being fourth row Alex side but... When Geddy came over to our side I put my license plate up, which says "I (heart) Geddy." And he wasn't too impressed. :( He just kind of looked at it. I was hoping for a big toothy smile.

 

Oh well.

wow Mika that is alot, I think I got about 100 total with a full video of Where's my thing, and Carnies, and a couple other clips of Geddy talking...I love to listen to that man talk.

 

Gangsta sorry Ged didn't flash you a smile.

I love listening to him talk, too!

 

I filmed 'The Anarchist' - it's the one song I just had to have recorded evidence of. But Geddy introduced the string section before the song, so I inadvertantly got that as well, so I have him talking, too! :) Gawd, 'The Anarchist' is such a monster song. I wish I had two bodies so I could have had an extra me filming the whole show. I can't wait for the offical live dvd to be released! It would be cool if it could have bonus material of songs from different shows. There's so much good stuff happening at each show, it's almost a shame to limit the dvd to just one (or, in this case, two) show(s).

 

I filmed 'That Anarchist' back in Edmonton, too, so last night I sat down and watched them, comparing them the two versions I have now. I really like how in the recent one there's a moving camera that slowly pans by Geddy - he looks like such a boss on the screen!

 

Now I'm off to check out good ol' youtube for any new snippets! I can't get enough Rush concert action right now! :)

I think he doesn't wear tight pants because he doesn't have to hit such high notes...lol

 

Jump is pretty impressive for a 60 year old man...he is still very agile...wink wink

 

I caught part of where he was talking about how the Anarchist is a good one to put your kids to bed too and now here is another song about destruction at sea The Wreckers....lol

We don't know how many pairs of pants he goes through during a tour though. Maybe he's split the seams a few times. :D

Look at those faces in the audiences - a sea of people.

 

Has anyone here ever wondered what that must be like for the boys?

 

Am I the only one who would give almost anything just to experience it at least once?

 

Sometimes I think I wish I could ask one of them if I could just stand a bit off stage when everyone is clapping and cheering wildly for them so I could get an idea of what it is like.

 

The charge one gets from the energy of the people must be phenomenal.
