I don't understand. Is Mao a hero of his? Or is the statue a joke of some sort?

 

Of course I think that with Geddy it's a joke. There are many people, myself included that have a interest in history and propaganda, it's very interesting stuff. I think I read somewhere that Geddy enjoys history, or maybe somebody gave it to him, or he saw it in a store somewhere and had to have it.

 

Think he enjoys the fact that it's an unusual piece to have for a collection. What made me laugh was the comment about the dog.

Just catching up. Great pictures. So about Neil showing emotion I was blown away by the emotion Neil showed during The Garden at Hershey. Amazing.

 

I love the emotion of Ged during the acoustical version of Resist when I saw it live OMG

I know, right? The best combination of shirts he could possibly wear, as far as I'm concerned - the red overshirt shirt really goes well with the t-shirt.

 

Ah. Good stuff.

 

And, Geddy had not one but two costume changes: the first set was this ensemble, then second set was his afro-Geddy shirt underneath a long-sleeved greyish shirt, and the encore had his overshirt removed to reveal that the Geddy shirt had long sleeves. He looks very nice in long t-shirt sleeves. :wub:

Just thought I'd mention - I'm still so enamored of Geddy's red shirt, that I found myself gravitating towards red today. I chose to wear a nice cherry red sweater today at work, and rolled the sleeves up in that way I find so endearing on Geddy! The red paired with my dark blue jeans was really quite colourful, and every time I noticed my colours I got all happy. And there's something about red that makes me think of 'The Anarchist' (it's a very red-sounding song, isn't it?), so I had that running through my head tonight. :)

Ladies! Ladies!! Ladies!!! I had another Geddy dream last night. :laughing guy: Wait until you hear the latest.

 

Well ... from what I remember ... is that he was on tour but we kept meeting up and always in deep conversation. He had to leave to go wherever. The next thing I remember, I think it was his top roadie - or someone official with Rush - the man looked to be in his forties and he had light brown wavy hair up to his shoulders - was talking to me because he came to get me to bring me to the concert. He told me that Geddy was in a dilemma about me because he considered me not only one of his best friends but something more. He told me to just let Geddy be for a time as he sorts out what he is feeling. He said that that's the way Geddy does things. Then we got in his car and went zooming down the road to get on the freeway.

 

I honestly don't understand why I dream about him because it is not like he is on my mind 24/7 - but even if he isn't on my mind, there is always a Rush song going through my head - any time of the day or night. And I didn't even want to put it on here because I feel bad if anyone in his family or close friends would read about my nonsense dreams about him, but I have no control over my subconscious activity.

 

Doesn't anyone else here ever have a dream about him? I can't be the only one!

Anyway, that's the latest on Geddy and Lorraine from the wonderful world of dreams and sand castles. :LOL: :) :zzz:
