jrdrummer
Hi everyone. I don't know what to say... dir. But anyway I like this site alot. some nice topics. So here is my kit: Tama Swingstar: 8, 10, 12, 13, 16" toms 5?x14" snare drum 18x22 bass drum 14" Camber Hi hats on Gibraltar hi hat stand 20" Meinl ride cymbal 18" Sabian Crash 16" no-name crash (sure to break soon... ) 18" Meinl china (2 cracks) A cowbell LP plastic woodblock Gibraltar Prowler double pedal (btw, if anyone knows where I can find out how to adjust this sucker, I would really like to know) The reason I have crappy and broken cymbals is cause I'm 13 yrs old and I can't quite afford much by myself. Although my drums themselves are new, and I need to pay them off. I really like this new kit! If it matters Test4eco23 / Jamie is my uncle and he helped me pick this out, and thats why I got into Rush. So everyone. See ya (nice kits btw) http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a6/jrdrummer/swingstar.jpg http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a6/jrdrummer/swingstar2.jpg

I have replaced the Evans G2 heads (bleccch- a little soggy) with Remo Pinstripes all the way around, with an Emperor on the snare. I have also dusted off my cymbals! CygnusX-1Bk2
All in good time jr! I had crappy cymbals when I was 13. But that was also the year I started to accumulate Zildjians. My first Zildjian was a 10" splash, that is long since deceased. Shortly there after I got a 16" thin crash, then some hats and a ride. Man I have had a lot of Zildjians! By the time I was 16 the crap was gone and all I had were Zildjians and my trusty 16" Wuhan Chinese, which I still have and love today a million years later! We all gotta start somewhere! I have replaced the Evans G2 heads (bleccch- a little soggy) with Remo Pinstripes all the way around, with an Emperor on the snare. I have also dusted off my cymbals! Good choice. I used Evans tom heads as well, and I couldn't stand the sound that they produced. I recently invested in Remo heads, going with Coated Emperors for the Toms and a Weatherking for the snare. Great sounds from those babies.

The guy who printed that price tag out is the biggest neil peart and rush fan i swear he just burned me 2 cd's of neil's solos feom 74 up till the r30 tour so needless to say we're pretty much buddies now. i'll post a pic of the price tag i got from it as soon as i can get some pictures on my computer.
