Sure, a Boise/Bama game would be a nice match up but it wouldn't, and never will, have the same hype as a Texas/Bama match up. This is as big as it gets. I think that Boise can give Texas and Bama all that they can handle but Boise is not quite as good of a team. Texas/Bama are much deeper and have a size and speed advantage. I think Boise would win 2 or 3 out of ten games against either Texas or Bama. The curiosity of Boise playing in the championship game doesn't suprcede a dream match up. The starting RB (Tre' Newton) for Texas and the starting QB (Greg McElroy) for Bama played on the same state high school championship football team together.
