liquidcrystalcompass
My home computer is not working and I haven't had the chance to post. I was very disappointed that McCoy went down. Texas' D started out hot but you saw the life go out of the team when McCoy went down. I wonder what the outcome would have been if he played. The bottom line is that Texas lost but the score was 24-21 with only six minutes left in the game. Bama allowed a true freshman to keep the game close. Congrats to Bama but I wouldn't label it a convincing win when facing a true freshman QB.

I assumed it was over at halftime, but it was not. Bottom line is that Bama won and deserved the championship. I guess Texas will make another run at it in a couple of years. I liked what I saw in our young QB. He got better as the game went along. The poor bastard must have been freaking out when he was put in the game in the first quarter. It took him a quarter and a half to calm down. One the Horns had to go with Gilber, the playbook was trimmed to around 15 plays.
