Uconn's in a world of hurt right now with Jim Calhoun being out. I can't imagine what would happen to Duke if the lost Krzyzewski. Old coaches, you have to some how give them bionic implants or something to keep them alive.

Calhoun is actually now back. His return helping the Huskies remains to be seen.

My Cats held off the Volunteers yesterday in a game that was closer than I expected; I figured with Gameday at Rupp the Cats would come out fired up and play to their potential but UT's 3-2 zone really confounded UK for most of the game until John Wall finally remembered he's John Wall and another fabulous Freshman Eric Bledsoe came out of a shooting slump and put the game away in the final 5 minutes.

 

UK can win a title this year if they can ever learn to be careful with the ball, far too many unforced turnovers; if they ever play a great team like Kansas or Syracuse in the tourney they will make us pay for sloppy ball control.
