(I don't know if it's invaded the cable market or not). In the middle of some commercials now you'll see a little bug on the screen that looks like an antenna (DISH's logo). It says, "Press 'Select' now for more information on XXX product". WTF? I'm going to deliberately opt to watch a LONGER version of your annoying ad? Uh, no. Same tired old format: another new blobby car, driven through empty town streets and twisty country lanes..no other traffic in sight, no jams, no road rage, no pedestrians; the sky is blue, the sun is shining and everything is so fecking peachy and totally out of touch with reality! But I especially loathe ads from Ford and in particular one where they show musicians playing car doors, exhausts, engines etc etc... I mean come on!!!
