djb
So the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation had a contest over the last week to nominate 49 Canadian songs to present to President Obama. Many songs were nominated and then voted upon. They either soke of Canada, its values, the challenge that Obama now faces or his shared spirit with that of Canada. Closer to the Heart got top prize (most votes in Category A) I was, I must admit, stunned. See the whole list here: (listed alphabetically) http://www.cbc.ca/radio2/obamasplaylist/ Is this a rush forum concerted effort?? I see no evidence of Rush fans rallying to vote it to the top.... kbomb106
I'm not Canadian, so I may have no idea what I'm talking about, but is it surprising that Rush came out on top of a Canadian poll asking you to choose between only Canadian music? I'd expect them to rank high in that poll.

Atomic
I'm surprised The Hip have two songs to Rush's one. The Hip are good but kind of a one trick pony whereas Rush has continued to evolve and expand their repertoire.
