  1. A lot of easter eggs to be sure. One I don't get is why is Lerxst wearing the monster mask at the end? I'm not getting that one.

    CP R.I.P.

I remember two users Kroy Wen and Praetorian that were 'alluding' to the fact they were indeed NEP and Mosbach. Some of the posts were eerily prescient, like Rush being in a 'major motion picture' well before I Love You Man came out. Maybe it was common knowledge and I just wasn't aware. Maybe it was just a couple of wankers trolling.
  3. In the new X-Men Apocalypse trailer just released Quicksilver is running around in what else, a Rush concert shirt! http://www.cnn.com/2015/12/11/entertainment/x-men-apocalypse-trailer-thr-feat/index.html
  4. I agree that Geddy was not really interested in the book really and I heard Al's jab as well. Hadn't heard about another new book from Neil though. I wouldn't mind it. I like his earlier stuff.
  5. On the Jonathan Clarke show it's mentioned that Neil is releasing a new book. Anybody got any news on that? The interview http://www.q1043.com/onair/jonathan-jc-clarke-1368/watch-geddy-lee-and-alex-lifeson-14132877/
  6. First off, long long time since I've posted here! Saw the show in Phoenix and here are my favorite moments - 1. Xanadu (double necks and double bass drum double wow) 2. Hemispheres 2 and 1 3. Jacob's Ladder 4. The Anarchist. A surprisingly strong opening song. Does anybody know the 'setlist' for the songs playing prior to the show start? I know Neil personally picks those tunes and I recognized some Tull and Genesis. There were some pretty good songs and I'd love to check them out.
  7. First post for me in a long long time! I was at the show last night as well. Here are a few random thoughts, many of which are echoed above - 1. Alex tech gliches. He seemed to disappear for some songs entirely especially when competing with the string section. I could barely hear the guitar in Tom Sawyer among other songs. Other songs he was fine! I didn't notice him miffed and saw him hamming it up a few times for the audience. 2. Neil's t-shirt cannon can shoot shirts a long damn ways! 3. Set list - oh man that was good. Force Ten, Grand Designs, Territories, Big Money, Body Electric. oh man oh man oh man 4. The new arrangement of Where's My Thing? Sweet!!!! 5. The light show and pyrotechnics. 6. Geddy's sweet red bass guitar. Man that was beautiful. 7. The string section. I liked it! They seemed to really enjoy themselves especially the male celloist. He was rocking out! 8. Wrapping up with the Grand Finale. Fade out - lights out - WE HAVE ASSUMED CONTROL.... I say this every tour since Power Windows but this one was my favorite. Damn boys job well done.
  8. Wow Pags that was utterly fantastic. Good job man! And thanks!
  9. I vote for the three that come up at random when my ipod is set to shuffle and is loaded with all the Rush it can hold..
  10. Just doing my part as resident matchmaker!
  11. Scott this is Rushchick Rushchick this is Scott..
  12. QUOTE (rushgoober @ Jun 17 2012, 10:59 AM) I was listening to in the car yesterday, and I literally did get goosebumps. I was wearing shorts, so I could see them on my legs and arms - they lasted for awhile! I don't get goosebumps from the title track, but I do get this ridiculous smile across my face when I hear that one. Agreed! The title track is slowly worming its way into my brain.. I get the strong feeling it will my 'next one' as I slowly digest this album.
  13. I can't listen to The Garden without getting goosebumps! Good one guys!!
