Sarks' thead on Land of the Lost got me thinking about the HOURS of Saturday mornings I spent with a bowl (or three! or more!) of cereal in front of that T.V. set drool1.gif

So, I was wondering, what shows do you remember watching. Not nessesarily your favorites either, just any shows that you might have watched. I'll start with a couple quickies off the top of my head...

Looney Tunes (OF COURSE! But feel free to list 'em seperately too, if you want)

H. R. Puff 'n Stuff

The Banana Splits (I think is was called?)

What else....?

Alright here's my list:

Staples

Looney Tunes

Scooby Doo (the original; Scrappy Doo and other spinoffs sucked in my humble 7yr old opinion)

On The Fringe

Dungeons and Dragons

Captain Caveman

Land of the Lost

Under Threat of Torture I Will Admit To scared.gif

The Great Space Coaster

Semi-related, this post made me think of a Japanese cartoon(animated show?) that I used to watch after I came home from school religiously for awhile. It was kind of in tune with the premise of BattleStar Gallactica. Had to be late 70s early 80s.

But I can't remember the name of it for the life of me. Can anyone help me out?

Schro

Oh yeah, Lidsville. Tell me they didn't smoke something when they thought that show up! Anyway...... I remember Spidey and his amazing friends! (with Iceman and Firestar of course.)

Does anybody remember "Lidville" with Charles Nelson Reilly in green makeup flying around this strange town of Lidville in a hat?

Lidsville was the kick-kick-kickiest! laugh.gif

Loved the Krofft shows - Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, LotL, Wonderbug, etc.

Superfriends and the Hall of Justice, Schoolhouse Rock, Scooby-Doo (pre-Scrappy), and I loved the Beetlejuice cartoon.

Back in the day... I'd be up at 5:30 in the morning... Pulling out a box of Lucky Charms (Pulling out the Marshmellows actually) I'd be watching...

-Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show

-Beatlejuice

-Ghostbusters

-Carebears

There are sooo many more, I just cant think of names! There was one, it was like a game show, only it was kids, and there were 3 teams of 2, and they'd be sitting in, you know those race car beds... well, something like that.... I dont know the name though.... maybe it'll come to me later

Yeah, "Lidsville", "HR Pufenstuff". Noooo, no drug references there, it's merely coincidental and if that's what you see, you're reading way too much into it sarcasm.gif

As far as we can remember (my sister and I), we think it's just The Inspector, as well.
