Mr. Mojo Risin'
Those were awesome. Those and the big balloons with strings that you could punch for hours, until one of your stupid friends broke it.
DiscipleofLerxst
I have a pair of those, but they don't make any noise when they clang into each other, and I don't think you would want to see a picture of them.

I remember them being banned in school because people were knocking themselves out with them! Dopey Bastards! Yep. They were all the craze when I was about 12/13. They were banned from our school too I think it was just the compelling/annoyance factor that forced the ban. I think they were called clackers over here. EveryNerveAware
Clackers is the brand name I remember as well. The first ones were the best, then they tried to make them safer and cheaper. The danger of shattering was the biggest reason why they pulled them from the market. Just like the old lawn darts game called Jarts. The originals had sharp metal spikes that stuck into the ground very well. Then there were idiots who threw them at people or straight up into the air and some ended up embeded in skulls. So they changed them a few times to make them safer for the idiots and they didn't stick in the ground and the game wasn't nearly as fun anymore. I say bring back the original Clackers and provide eye protection in the package!
TheRocinanteKid
http://www.lemonlight.org/photos/uncategorized/conkers.jpg Are more fun and best of all can never be made safer... Although they have resulted in a few finger injuries for me.
