Hi all, A close personal friend of mine who lives in Pittsburgh just decided he wants to come to the show (and crash at my new shack. lol). HE NEEDS A TICKET!! He has a paypal account if anyone has a fairly priced ticket for him. Please let me know asap!!! Thanks in advance!! P.S.: MY CARPETING IS SCHEDULED TO BE INSTALLED 6/6/08, SO WE'LL HAVE CARPETING AND (SOME) FURNITURE FOR THE MEETUP PARTY!!!!! YAHOOOO!!!! BTW, now that it's less than two weeks away, who the hell is coming over before or after the show? My place is your place. Hell, I practically bought it just so we could have a place to meet!! I am taking the next day off and my buddy is here from out of town, so we will be partying 'til the sun comes up over Windsor Wednesday morning. I can assure you of this. If the parking is as good as you say, that would be worth it alone, but meeting fellow Rush fans as well, then descending onto Detroit en masse?? Count me in, and then some. We hung out pretty far away from the air race... even father back than the Detroit Princess. Kinda between the Omni Hotel, and the bridge to Belle Isle. This was really more about partying on a huge yacht, on the water when a cool event was happening in Detroit city than the air race itself. We parked over by the River Place development, in the old Stroh's building lot. I have a few pics i'll post in random samples. We had such a blast. but, it's been one exhausting weekend for me. I don't want to hijack this thread with my pics of the air race Sorry we missed you ken. It would have been cool to have seen you on the water. oh well. I'll see you next week!! Never heard that term before. Sorry I had to stay at my place because I had a party going on so I never had a chance to go down to the river. The races were pretty boring so we focused on the partying and swimming in the pool. I just found out I'm not allowed to move on weekends or at night, so my place is going to be unfurnished for the meetup. Oh well. 'til Tuesday...
