They are very much missed, no doubt. yes.gif

Back when I used to play, 'The Cowboy Song' was one of my very favorites to do. It don't get much more fun than that! Great dynamics, lots of room to stretch out and improvise, ya gotta love it! trink39.gif

Hell yeah! Phil is the coolest! I got to meet Scott Gorham back in 2000. He still shreds!

Now listening - We Will Be Strong.

I know we have the strength to carry on...

Jailbreak is a MASTERPIECE.

I really like them, and wish I discovered them much earlier!

Phil died on this day - January 4, 1968.

You rock, Phil!

He was only 36 too...

RIP Philo.

4 unreleased tracks from the '60's were found in Dublin yesterday, believed to be Phil's first recordings.

They're essentially Skid Row demos, Brush Shiels, Gary Moore and Noel Bridgeman also appear on these.

I just did a little research on it and it was definitely 1986.

I think I'm gonna throw on Live and Dangerous right now.

RIP Mr. Lynott.

RIP Mr. Lynott.

Yes it was 1986 and it doesn't seem like 21 years to me, I remember seeing Thin Lizzy on Jim'll Fix it in 1981 playing Hollywood (Down on your Luck)...

Those were the days...no way you'd get a band like Thin Lizzy on a show like that these days...

I think he got the 6 and the 8 the wrong way round...

Yeah, sorry about that.

I'be been listening to the Chinatown album all day. I go in waves with these guys...so I'll wear this one out for a while and then move on to another one.
