the masked drummer
http://musictravel.free.fr/articles/ozric/ozric2.jpg "Arborescence". This is one of my favorites. I highly recommend it: http://fusionanomaly.net/ozrictentaclesarborescence.jpg I have this in my car at all times: http://www.progarchives.com/progressive_rock_discography_covers/281/cover_3936211522007.jpg This is another good one: http://fusionanomaly.net/ozrictentaclespungenteffulgent.jpg This is the "front man" for the band. When I saw them in Detroit at the Majestic Theatre, he stopped the band when he couldn't find his flute. He then discovered someone ripped it off right in the middle of the set and the band subsequently ended the show early in a fit of fury. Another black eye for the city. If we could have figured out who did it, he would have ended up dead in the alley after the show. I think it was someone standing in front. The stage is low enough to reach stuff from the audience on the stage floor. http://www.priorities.org/concerts-ozric3.JPG They were great in concert. They busted their butts up there to put on a good show for us until the theivery. Edited September 7, 2007 by the masked drummer

tangy
f***ing great. The Ozrics make it over to the states and play like 4 or 5 dates total. At Wakarusa, 2 Colorado shows and Minneapolis? WTF. Real disappointing. Anyways the reviews have been good and they have a new DVD out which I will be picking up soon. short trailer at this site below http://www.snappermusic.com/ms/ozrictentacles/

tangy
great show tonight. the crowd was really into it and the band seemed to appreciate that fact. i was front row right in front of ed! i really think ed is among the best guitar players ever, then factor in his sick keyboard work and he is unknown genius IMO. i understand he can not read music and have to wonder if thats why his music is so unique. he is one far out cat to say the least.
