When i got home i iced it up, but today it swelled up again, so in a bit i'm off to get an X-Ray to make sure it's not broken. I went to physio in June and July...so right now i'm just resting it, since baseball is over for now. I'll have a good rest from now till next season. I'm pretty sure i'll be healed by then! I had a herniated, degenerated disc at L5-S1 so they had to take what was left of it out and fuse the surrounding vertebrae together. I had bad back problems off and on for about 5 years before having it done though. And I'm a drummer, it was not fun having a finger injury like that. Took a month to heal and I can't feel the area at all. Actually I can feel pain and burning heat on it, but nothing else. Couldn't even DRINK. That's how much they hurt. Got two cortisone injections recently and have another one scheduled soon. They seem to be working. Fractured R Talus (ankle) - causes pain frequently, and can't run due to restricted movement Two fractured patellae - will require knee replacements in a few years Maxillo-facial construction- basically the entire right side of my face is metal plates holding a few bits of bone together, though you wouldn't know it to look. This can be excruciating especially in winter. On top of this, throw in hearing damage and frequent cluster headaches, accompanied by occassilonal focusing problems... Jeez, I'm a wreck!
