barney_rebel
Just seeing if this jives with the rocker standard.
circumstantial tree
If you are referring to the 1975 movie "Tommy", I find that much more appealing than "The Wall", which has eerie similiarities to Tommy. So my vote goes to Tommy.
plodder
The Wall. Simply because I love the album, saw the tour and the film. The Who suck (IMHO).
barney_rebel
QUOTE (circumstantial tree @ Apr 14 2006, 01:30 PM) If you are referring to the 1975 movie "Tommy", I find that much more appealing than "The Wall", which has eerie similiarities to Tommy. So my vote goes to Tommy. Yes the 1975 version with all the heavy hitters.

Rush!
I've never seen the Tommy movie so I probably shouldn't have voted but I have The Wall Movie on DVD and it's absolutely amazing! So I voted The Wall.
rushgoober
I must admit that I've never heard Tommy (well, I've heard some individual songs), owned the album or seen the movie. I dunno, I should one of these days, but some of the material I heard made it sound a bit more theatrical then I was interested in, though doubtlessly it has some great songs as well. One of these days....

PuppetKing2112
The Wall. As much as I love the Tommy album, I think the movie was absolutely terrible. The Wall is better in every way. I'll stick with my Who Isle of Wight 1970 DVD where they play most of the album, thank you very much. But, as an album, without the movie, Tommy > The Wall
Stormtron
Yeah, I thought the film version of Tommy was horrible as well. The Wall, hands down.
