Best Rush Experience
During "Marathon" at Birmingham NEC. Just after Geddy sings "You can do a lot in a lifetime, if you dont burn out too fast" Alex did a swirly gesture with his finger and a waterfall effect of vari-lights fell from top to bottom, either side of the stage. Awesome to see but badly captured on the video.

As Mel Brookes so eloquently said: "Badges! Badges! We don't need no stinkin' badges!!" Insert Sub-Genres for badges. Just my opinion

Yup. Outlands with Sean Connery. Bloody awful film. Both myself and the missus looked at each other and cut our losses after about 30 mins.

QUOTE (Hatchetaxe&saw @ Jun 28 2006, 08:16 PM) QUOTE (plodder @ Jun 28 2006, 03:46 PM) I'm going to see Steve Howe tonight. Wow, lucky b*gger! Post a review!!! I was hoping he'd play Ireland.............. Slim pickings for Yesheads of late round these parts He was great He appeared with a Yes tribute band called Fragile. (He played Steve Howe) He came on for the second half. Did a solo spot of acoustic songs The Clap, Mood For A Day, The acoustic part of The Ancient (Awesome) and a new working of To Be Over. Then he stayed with the band a rolled out all the favourites. Starship Trooper, Siberian Khatru, Soon (Gates Of Delirium) and tons more. The ended with Roundabout. My ears are still ringing. Great night.
