A&M's playground approach has gotten them to the line over 40 times and they've made just 26 of them. Scrappy rebounding leading to putbacks, and a timely 3pointer here and there, has kept them alive. Houston, up four with 21.5 to go, misses the first of two free throws....the second falls. Meanwhile, Zags got an offensive rebound and had a chance to wind the clock for the last shot of the half but instead jacked a quick three and missed, then fouled the dunk on the other end to give a 3pt play.
