Airplay-Airplay (9/10)

This is such a one off gem.  and the fact that Toto is one again the backing band (well sans david Paitch Cause David Foster is the keyboard player of the duo)  is amazing.  They were on such killer Melodic rock in the 80's.

Any AOR fan that has not heard this one....what are you Doing?

let me know what you think.  the band wound up being a one off.  Because one of the two guys didn't want to tour.  But it's rapidly becoming a wonderful found treasure.  And surprise toto (minus david paitch cause the band had it's own piano player) Play on it.

Toto was on literally every major pop and AOR album in the 80's.

Love those dudes.

that's a good score.  yea there were some ballad i didn't think you'd like i know your not really a ballad guy but it's AOR so soft music is par for the course.  but the upbeat  stuff is REALLY good IMO.  and Toto's playing elavates things.

really great album.  glad you enjoyed it.

Dan Fogelberg-Phoenix (9/10)

i love Dan and although this not my fav album of his......it also contains maybe the worst thing ever that being Longer....I still have a soft spot for it.  it was my first and i still recommend it to folk as an entry point.  it's his breeze-iest, easiest album to digest and EVERYONE i play it for wants to hear more Dan after.

I like Longer.......but it is gratingly cheesy. Doesn't offend me on the album, but no way would I throw it on a playlist
