Jack Aubrey Posted November 16, 2005 Share Posted November 16, 2005 The trailer has a brief shot of Geddy performing onstage, I guess we'll have to buy the DVD to hear his thoughts about 'Rings'. There are some clips available as well, but I haven't watched them yet. The thing looks like it will be a bit geeky, though. Geddy talks about being a fan of the book and how he's reading it to his daughter as well as talking about Rivendell. You also get brief snippets of Rivendell and Spirit of Radio. The film itself isn't too bad considering it was a low budget effort. Some of the fans are a little irritating (particularly the overly gushing fangirls - even my cringed at them and she's a fangirl herself ). The celebrity interviews are good as are the cast/crew ones. Best of all are the interviews with Brian Sibley, who wrote the Movie Guide. He walks a good balance between being a fan and a critic.
