I'm at least hoping for 1 or 2 more people to join in on the poll. I think we could gain bluefox to play along, but there's a tropical storm heading for where he's at right now...

I voted "unsure", because I don't think about it as Gabriel vs. Collins... I think of it as the Hackett era vs. the post-Hackett era. I group A Trick of the Tale and Wind & Wuthering in the same bracket as the earlier albums.

I just looked that up, holy cow! I didn't know tropical storms ever cot up that far north! To all TRF members in New England, stay safe.

The first Genesis album is an obvious removal.

Regarding lead vocalists, my opinion is that Gabriel Genesis were light years better than anything that followed.

Just to show how I'm going to be voting, here's my ranking:

 

1. Foxtrot

2. The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway

3. A Trick Of The Tail

4. Genesis (yep, that's right, I'm not all prog all the time)

5. Nursery Cryme

6. Selling England By The Pound (this and Nursery Cryme tend to Duke it out for the number 5 slot)

7. Abacab

8. Duke

9. Wind And Wuthering

10. Tresspass

11. Invisible Touch

12. We Can't Dance

13. And Then There Were Three (and Follow You Follow Me is one of the best, if not the best, tracks on here)

14. From Genesis To Revelation

 

and I haven't heard Calling All Stations nor do I have much intent to anytime soon.
