Lots of good ones, but not hard to pick. Had to choose Electric Ladyland, based on a personal experience.

Back in late '68, WABX-FM 99.5 broadcasted from offices on the 32nd floor of the David Stott Building in downtown Detroit. Being a "progressive underground" station, they allowed us regular folks in to listen in right outside the control room. One early afternoon I checked it out. DJ JImmy Hampton was pulling vinyl disc 2 of a promo copy of EL out of the sleeve before going into the room. He showed us the back of the sleeve and said "Whatta ya think?" A voice behind me piped up, "House Burning Down." I chimed in "yeah". Jimmy goes in, cues up the record, does a quick intro, and lets it roll. The swirling, burning guitar intro comes pouring out of the speakers, and I was dumbstruck. I sat mesmerized as the notes came pouring forth, unable to move or speak. At the finish even Jimmy was stunned, simply saying "wow" in an awed voice. That has stayed with me forever.

I love and worship Rush, but Electric Ladyland will always be #1!

Zep IV gets my vote. Lot of good albums here (The Beatles albums, Boston's ST album, Peace of Mind among others) but none beats Zep IV. Its loaded with great songs. Not only does it not have a bad song on it, its hard to say that it even has any ok songs. All the songs are very good or great.
