Segue Myles
I love Kansas. I need to revisit their work, especially after Drastic Measures.

treeduck
KANSAS seems like a band you would hate Pat. AOR Prog Pop. You hate it.No Earl I've always liked KANSAS. One of my favourite bands in fact. Don't you remember our KANSAS vs Blue Oyster Cult argument? I've got Kansas STREETS ahead of BOC! Oh I remember that argument. I know 73 is also a way bigger Kansas fan than BOC! I love both bands dude. But It's BOC for me!!

Entre_Perpetuo
I was wondering to myself when this album would come out and it turns out it was already released a couple weeks ago, lol. Nobody here seems to be talking about it, is it any good?

Derek19
In answer to the above, and previous question's post, I haven't known if Kansas' new release "the Absence of Presence" is supposed to be any, or more, than good because I haven't listened to enough of it to know, yet. zepphead
Been listening to this over the last week - getting better with every listening. It's a bit more AOR than their heady Prog-tastic days but still a good listen by a great band.
zepphead
Looking forward to this one! Hopefully they can pull a great album like Styx did on The Mission.I think that Styx took a big risk releasing something as ambitious as The Mission, but (in my view) it worked so well!Probably fair to say that Kansas are taking less risks with The Absence of Presence ..... but still a good album!
