They just released their debut album of all original songs... Catch up! Hahaha! Thank you my little brother!!!! I saw a RUSH tribute band at the Walnut Festival like 8 years ago. The lead singer was a fuckking amazing singer. She nailed "Anthem." I had "Tears" in my eyes! Seriously!!! I will check that band out!!!! HECK YES!!!! Perhaps Geddy Alex Dave Grohl and that female singer can form a band! The can call it....... Closer To The "HEART" LOL!!! Rush and Heart even got into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Shame together on the same night in LA! I WAS THERE! I finally got to record a four track cd ep on the drums with my awesome 21 year young nephew! It's coming together really well! We laid down my drums first! Now the rest is getting redone. I will have to mail you a cd when it comes out! The fourth song on the first side is called "Kill The Lights" I was able to lay down a nice ending homage to Neil at the end of the track! I know you would dig it! I've been waiting 33 years to record. FINALLY! It was such a wonderful and smooth process. I studied the scratch tracks for months. Ate drank and slept these four tracks. The hard work paid off!!! I used many splashes and Chinas along with my Stewart Copeland snare. I wanted that thing to crack on the record!!! Not bad for a fuckking 50 year old crack addict who is addicted to crystal meth, Sinatra Jack and heroin!!!!!!!! I think I'm going to pursue a career in session drumming. Had most of the Beasties material when it was hot (late '80s into the late '90s). Still don't mind them, they're often prog rap as far as my ears are concerned.
