Thought I'd check out a Sonata drum cover just to laugh out how incredibly bland it is, but this guy decided to give the cover some flavor. As soon as he started that irregular ride hitting at 0:18 I thought, "Wait, Tommy doesn't do that, does he?" immediately consult the studio track and nah, he doesn't. Resume watching the cover and by the the time first verse is done I'm sold. This guy did a good job and I'm glad I discovered this. One comment mentions Priester influence, and I'd say yeah, probably.

do your co-workers bitch too much?

lead by example with your chill temperament

eventually someone will ask you how you do it - explain your meditation practices

exaggerate a bit if needed to make it interesting. don't suggest that they start meditating themselves, no one responds well to demands or even friendly suggestions, hell, that's why your coworkers are pissing and moaning all the time to begin with! again, you're leading by example.

badabing badaboom, that coworker has begun meditating

from there the seed blossoms

before you know it, your entire workplace is filled with zen masters and everyone loves on another

now your company's mission is to achieve world peace, and you can do it.

Overall I'm going to give this one a 5 to a weak weak 6. Gotta say Steven Wilson, you're dying. *deadpan stare* Your music is getting worse, your silly little antics and strives to standout are no longer working, no longer cute, but just pathetic. If you don't get your shit together you're going to end your career one a bad note (<-- music pun) and no one will be to blame except for yourself, you ugly androgynous old man. Is it worth it Steven? Do you want a legacy like Bowie or Zappa, or do you want to fade out of interest like the suicidal ELP (bad taste keith sudoku joke) or gluttonous Yes (good taste Chris Squire fat ass joke)???

To The Bone: 2/10 DOWNGRADED

Nowhere Now: 5/10 -- painfully mediocre

Detonation: 3/10 -- (yeah, I'm downgrading this one too)

Song of Unborn: 7/10 -- good

21:16:22] Hubardo: as far as classic prog

[21:16:29] Crimson, Yes, Floyd and Genesis

[21:16:47] at least to me even though I don't listen to the latter

[21:16:57] Ritsu: I regret seeing "Yes" live

[21:17:42] two enjoyable moments of the entire show: Wurm (the ending part of Starship Trooper if you need a refresher) and Steve Howe's slide guitar solo in And you And I

[21:17:44] Hubardo: I think there's a novelty of watching them ruin Roundabout in person

[21:17:50] Ritsu: I walked out of the show as soon as they started playing Roundabout as the finale http://i.imgur.com/Ct82RPY.png

[21:18:21] alright it's time to head out.

[21:18:21] Hubardo: a member of the Howe family died recently...too bad it was the wrong one

[21:18:34] Ritsu: that's dark http://i.imgur.com/NuGfwQv.png

[21:18:52] Hubardo: and in typical "me" fashion

[21:19:01] Ritsu: http://i.imgur.com/1EExn6p.png later Sean, MK

[21:19:08] Hubardo: http://i.imgur.com/1EExn6p.png

[21:19:15] homesickalien: Huh? Oh... http://i.imgur.com/1EExn6p.png

[21:19:22] Ritsu: eyeroll

In her dreams she's seen it all

Through a window so far off

Remember watching while her

Lightning blue eyes reflected sunrise

Through the dawn I'd seen it, too

I caught a glimpse I thought was her

And I was overwhelmed

Lightning blue eyes against the daylight

Cowboy Bebop, eps best to worst based on user ratings

kear5GN.png

My opinion on these placings/episodes:

Ballad of Fallen Angels is a top-10 episode.

The Real Folk Blues & Juptier Jazz, the two two-parter episodes, are also top 10 or top 5 material.

Waltz For Venus? No thanks. It's an okay episode, but not a top 10.

Pierrot le Fou? Hell yeah. Definitely a top 5 episode. This episode is unusually dark and strange for Cowboy Bebop, and broke the show's typical story formula.

Asteroid Blues is a great pilot episode, top 10 episode.

Hard Luck Woman? Don't remember too much about it, I'm currently 21 episodes into my series rewatch.

Mushroom Samba is SHIT. It is the worst Bebop episode. I don't actually like Ed as a character, only as a mascot, as I've clarified in the past.

Speak Like a Child is okay, not top 10.

Toys in the Attic is the other episode of the series which is a big break from the usually, and a cool standout. Probably top 10.

^ and that's that when it comes to the top 10 cowboy bebop episodes.

Some episodes which are too far down the list (UNDERRATED):

Wild Horses. Why is this episode second to last?

Heavy Metal Queen.

Black Dog Serenade and Ganymede Elegy. Jet episodes are really good.
