Funny how she suggests Kyo to basically fake enthusiasm for fans in the future to make up for this. Simultaneously she accusses Kyo for being inauthentic in his complimenting of fans? Guess it's just a no win situation with her then.

None of this would have triggered her if she respected Kyo as a musician instead of idolizing him as a person.

Kyo shows a certain degree of respect towards his fans in Japan (IDK overseas) but either way he would never compliment his fans...at least publicly.

 

This brings up an interesting comparison with the GazettE cause when they did meet and greets overseas on their first trip to the States, they were the anti-DEG. Now I never met the GazettE but I saw bits of the documentary for the tour and they're...actually nice and very acknowledging towards their fans. So I guess, musical talent is a trade off in regards to how well or poor DEG and GazettE handle meet and greets...granted with the latter you just do handshakes and that's it and no picture but still.

 

Unfortunately, there's a correlation between respecting bands as people overpowering respecting bands as musicians in regards to Japanese music. IDK why that is and I've tried to make my own conclusion as to why, but I think "idol culture" in Japan (but in other countries with "idols" as well) is a major part of the problem.
