On to restrictor plate racing. Potential for  or :o

Took a while but damned if there wasn't a lot of :o all of a sudden.

Yeah, what a mess! Glad Allmendinger is OK. It looked like Danica hit that inner wall pretty hard too.

Always some crazy s--t going on at Talledega, got a feeling the hot and heavy gang will end up as the wrecked and ravaged gang.

Daniel Suarez for the win.

Kyle Busch = Whiny punk. "At least next week we'll be at a real racetrack."

Yeah, sure that would've come out of your mouth in victory circle...

CONGRATS STENHOUSE JR.!!!! Nice "driving" that final lap!

Talladega needs another lap on the overtime runs. The cars aren't even fully up to speed at the line.

I think Nascar is afraid the race would never end...

No, Talledega needs to move the start/finish line to the start of the tri-oval instead of the end where it is. That's an additional 1250 feet for them to wind 'em up.

Love the graph, KJ. Even with my suck ass predictive capabilities.

Allmendinger can eat a dick. I looked at my wife 3 laps before that big wreck and said, "Allmendinger doesn't belong up there and he is the dickhead that's going to cause something big to happen" and not three laps later he plows in the back of my favorite driver and causes a major pile up. What an asshole.

In fairness, that's not how Chase Elliott saw it. He was very clear that he felt Allmendinger did nothing wrong; and that Allmendinger was just giving a push at the same moment that Chase happened to get loose.

Restrictor plate racing is to blame, not any one driver. It's a ridiculous form of racing, and it lends itself to nonsense wrecks. It's more of a circus than a race.

Frankly, as much as I dislike Kyle Busch, his post-race comments were spot on... next week we go to a real race track.

You can't "push" on the left fender. Just can't happen. Chase was being professional. That was a split second idiotic decision that caused a major wreck...

I think AJ knows you can't push on a car that offset to your own; but I don't think there's any way he could've expected chase to be in that position. He was already committed to the push when Chase got loose off the corner. Sure, had he time to react properly, it wouldn't have happened; but it was a bang-bang play, with fractions of a second between Chase slipping up, and AJ making contact.

From a spectators perspective, an idiot move. From the perspective of someone inside a racecar, no time to react.

Going with the obvious this week; hope it works. Hard to tell with so many Hendrick drivers not in qualifying.

Blueschica-- Ryan Blaney #21

Mr. blues -- Joey Logano #22
