Halford's voice could knock Gene Simmons right off his high heels.

Paul Stanley had a better voice and was a songwriter

Don't discount the ability of a performer to go into a studio alone and come out with great music

Paul Stanley could do that

I'm no fan of KISS. I like two Priest albums (haven't played them enough).

Not a fan of either and don't dislike one more or less than the other really...I don't want to imply I am an admirer of Priest when obviously I am not.

But just as a casual fan...I can't believe anyone would think Stanley is a better singer than Halford.

Hat is like saying Katy Perry is a better singer than Karen Carpenter.

No. Just no.

Then again he likes ABK48 haha!!

Don't worry about understanding the Japanese bits. There's nothing there of substance. But I think you can gather that.

**** !!

I can't view it here in the USA

Substance is what you make of it

I have enough substance in my real life, so AKB is really no different than any other performers - it is simply entertainment

In fact, some of Neil's post 1985 lyrics are highly entertaining

.. and Haruna Kojima is a total fox

And I'll leave the Paul vs Rob thing alone, because nobody cares anyway

But for those with open minds ( Segue, I know that you are one of the few ), just watch this, and if you still think Paul doesn't have a good voice, I'll respect that

I love Rob Halford, but he is one dimensional and choppy .. He has never done anything like this

f**k man. They're on stage in fox, bunny, and other cutesy bullshit animal costumes lip syncing and dancing badly to Heavy Rotation. Cheap ass, processed entertainment in its highest form.

What I find interesting ( sort of ) is how emotional NON fans get about certain performers ... It's happened with KISS for 40 years, and it seems to be the same with AKB

The non fans seem as emotionally invested, if not more so, than the actual fans ...

I see nothing wrong with enjoying something

Maybe there should be a law against cute chicks in bunny ears ??

Not even. I'm not emotionally invested in thinking Brad Pitt is a crap actor. I just think he is. I do find it surprising that some people think he's great. But no I'm not "emotionally invested". Same here with AKB48.

If you don't agree, you can go f**k yourself if you're even able to still get hard

Paul has got one main voice he uses, apart from the high falsetto he used on parts of The Elder, Dynasty and Unmasked. Halford has got several different styles of voice he uses, deep, gravel, high pitched, super high, dog hearing high, crooning, mid-range, normal falsetto, screams, mega high screams and many more.

Beyond the Realms of Death alone blows this away. Of course but you know that already. ;)

We'll agree to disagree then .. I like Paul's voice better because it just seems to flow like an extension of his speaking voice - he's more natural to me, and I appreciate the fact that he could come into my living room with an acoustic guitar and sit down and play the songs alone ..

We all have our preferences, but the way Digtal Dad and Segue freaked out at the mention of Paul being compared to Rob is really odd, but understandable for anyone who probably doesn't own a single album by either band

This isn't better than the KISS clip .. sorry

Goose, we both know who sang that one

Actually, I don't think Halford could sing Hard Luck Woman
