Both guitar players are Legends. Both are still going strong. David continues to put out solo albums. Steven is still laying down beautiful guitar work with Marillion and he also has his side project S.R.B. which is some incredible stuff.

 

I love both guitar players however the vote is easy.

 

It goes to STEVEN ROTHERY!

 

Can't wait to see MARILLION on Friday night!

Never heard of Lotharian or Rotharian or Rothery or whatever his name is (seriously, haven't heard of him) but I'd go with Gilmour anyway.

So here it comes Marillion Floyd fans.

 

Now I know why I started this poll.

 

The new album F.E.A.R." is amazing.

 

Sadly it puts a few Rush fans asleep.

 

Oh well.

 

That's life.

 

 

Track 9 "The Leavers (II) Vapour Trails In The Sky" is so PINK FLOYD!!!!

 

It's so uncanny.

 

It's so spot on.

 

Rothery is the MAN.

We all have our opinions and our true love of music.

 

Sadly we all can't see eye to eye when it comes to the arts as well as all of the other bullshit in the world that we all have to endure.

 

 

I don't know about any of you who waste your time reading my shite. I know I have a lot of friends and enemies on here.

 

But so be it.

 

Music keeps me focused on that wary and windy road to Cygnus. The God Of Balance I will be.......................
