  1. Hard to say. Limiting myself just rock (jazz is on another level for me), its probably Radiohead, then Rush, then Zepplin.

    Rate S&A

I'd have originally given this like an 8, just because I enjoy it much more than their other recent albums. However, over time I've gotten pretty bored by S&S, and I think its more like a 5 or 6 now, but I still think it was a step in a better direction.
  3. I personally dig PW more than most people, I guess. I have a hard time giving it a C, even by Rush standards. Other than that I enjoy your reviews.
  4. I'm still pretty meh with this DVD. Sounds solid apart from Ged, though he really shines on certain songs. Visually, it looks nice but doesn't really capture the full feel of the show. I thought the S&A was much more visually appealing.
  5. I saw the setlist for Time Machine before I went, really wish I wouldn't have. I saw Radiohead a few weeks ago, and had seen the setlist from the previous show. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they play entirely new setlists every single show. Major, MAJOR changes to the songs. Pretty cool to see bands do that, especially ones that have so many fans that will go to multiple shows.

    Katy Perry

I'm fine with it. Some kid was at that show because his older sister made their family go. Now he's gonna google that to find out what it was and be a Rush fan for life.
  7. T4E by miles for me. I don't get the votes for the early albums...but whatev...
  8. Power Windows. For me its not even close.
  9. QUOTE (druid13 @ Aug 20 2010, 10:40 AM) Red Rocks was bad....but Rush had one on the HYF tour that was much worse. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZrv9BQFvSA Haha, love it!
  10. This is awesome. Now I wish I'd have made it to the KC show.
  11. I hope so too. TCE is more than enough to sell me on this tour though.
  12. I think we might get a Live CD from this tour, but no DVD until the big tour hopefully next year.
  13. I live not too far from KC, and check that site from time to time. This is not the first time I have seen a review that is way off base.
  14. I saw this too. Its a shame he would choose to go watch a team like the Cubs...
  15. I wish I would have made it out, sounded like a good time.
  16. I'm excited, I think this has the potential to be a great setlist.
  17. Switch Stick it Out with Animate, add maybe one more good tune to set 1 and I'd be pumped.
  18. QUOTE (hughes&kettner @ Jul 1 2010, 08:50 AM) QUOTE (Tarkus407 @ Jul 1 2010, 06:54 AM) What's with the freakin polka intro to La Villa and the dragged out reggae intro to Working Man? I mean 30 seconds is fine for that stuff..it's fun then...but over 2 minutes of reggae Working Man? A bit much if you ask me. NO ONE ASKED YOU- 3 rush shows does not mean anyone cares what you think. most of all the 3 guys on stage. Congratulations, you're a douche. Anyway, I actually love when bands do stuff like this, especially competent ones like Rush. What's that exciting about hearing 20, 30, 40 year old songs exactly the same way as they have always been played? Adding things to songs brings a lot more to their live performances.
  19. Red Barchetta is high on the goosebumps list for me. TCE and Witch Hunt too... I know its not on this tour, but Red Sector A chills me like nothing else.
