  1. QUOTE (Queen of Megadon @ Apr 8 2010, 08:27 AM) Take the kid...cement the greatness of a RUSH concert in her head. The next generation will have far less opportunity for live shows...and someone has to carry the torch. I agree Take her she'll enjoy just like my daughter will. She saw her first show on the VT tour and now she must see this tour since her favorite album is MP. Besides it's summertime what better thing to do for a child from a Dad. Peace
  2. I couldn't careless where they play it but where ever it's played it should be pretty interesting to all of us. It will be for me even after 40 something shows.
  3. QUOTE (LeaveMyThingAlone @ Apr 8 2010, 02:39 PM) QUOTE (g under p @ Apr 8 2010, 02:31 PM) This tour is going to be a booming success and I think more bands should do this kind of summer tour with one particular album featured.. I agree. Steely Dan and Heart come to mind as bands that have played thei most popular albums in their entirety, but with Steely Dan i think they alternated between 3 albums depending on the venue. This is brilliant marketing by the Rush camp, but I think it would have been an even bigger coup if they announced a Permanent Waves/Moving Pictures alternate album tour, where they go back and forth every other night. Especially with how hardcore Rush fans are, it would have drawn a lot more fans to 2 shows rather than 1 This all came to my mind when I saw Metallica play *Master Of Puppets* in it's entirety 30 minutes into their 20th anniversary show of that album in Germany. I have to say it was awesome to hear THAT album in that way, it was so captivating. I believe these shows will be just as captivating and to hear TCE is icing on the cake. Peace
  4. *Time Stand Still* has to be a must on this tour. Man I haven't had this much anticipation since VT.
  5. The old and the new will make up the brew.
  6. I haven't read this entire thread but how about since they'll play Moving Pictures in it's entirety. They have 3 large framed paintings with the ability to change positions during various songs. Then within those paintings have art from the many albums they'll play from on this tour. oh and maybe have that art in neon or laser driven, some crazy shit like that! Peace
  7. QUOTE (MULTIPLIED REACTION @ Apr 8 2010, 02:40 PM) QUOTE (g under p @ Apr 8 2010, 02:36 PM) I'm so excited for this tour in the The Camera Eye is my second favorite Rush song from probably my 3rd favorite album. I can't wait to hear TCE and I'll hear it in Florida and VA and couple other places that I can squeeze in. I have to add to the 40+ shows I've now seen over the years. Are you going to the Boston show? If so, a bunch of us on here are having a pre-show gathering. No I don't live in Boston any more. I have 2 homes in MD and Florida so the VA/DC, Pitts/Philly and the Tampa/and the last show in West Palm Beach is just around the corner from the house there. That should be it to add to the 40 something shows I've seen. This is absolutely TOO good to be true. I going to spend my daughter's college fund when this is all done. Peace

  10. These are the best tours cause after playing MP they can play whatever they want and most will be pleased with it being in the summer. I love it.
  11. QUOTE (theguyincygnusx1 @ Apr 7 2010, 02:31 PM) My one suggestion...drop Tom Sawyer.....please... I'll never happen but throw a new twist to it....something crazy like play it unplugged!
  12. This will be a treat as it will bring in the casual fans of or the ones who used to listen to either way I have to be there for several dates in several states.
  13. This a brilliant idea of a tour and i'll just be happy to finally hear The Camera Eye live.

  16. QUOTE (Steevo @ Mar 15 2010, 03:06 PM) For starters I'd say Red Dwarf, League of Gentlemen and the brilliant Reggie Perrin . It takes some *seriously* good quality to make me laugh these days http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/7681/56575119.jpg Back in college at late night this was ALL I watched Benny was the man. RIP. Loved the naked boobs every once in awhile.

  19. QUOTE (Earthshine @ Mar 12 2010, 01:59 AM) Bring back the old youtube! This new version is complicated and stupid. It looks different too. I didn't even notice there was a change in format, what's the difficulty? peace
  20. I liked it and it was pretty good, does this mean he won't be starring in the next *HITMAN* movie? Peace
  21. I once hepled out for a commercial filmed in a Norstrom store.
  22. My aunt's favorite show and i had to watch too. Loved the theme song to the show but I never liked how Jack Lord and his team ALWAYS got the bad guy. Mannix was another favorite of hers, he was just a super cool guy. Peace
