Happy Canada Day # 150 !! Right On Eh?
Fordgalaxy replied to YYZ Working Man's topic in Grand Designs
Does no one in Canada or any of the other dozens of posts here and elsewhere I read about this event know the word, sesquicentennial? -
Unless Kahne was out of fuel or they thought he wouldn't make it for 3-4 more laps, WHY take a pit stop when that last caution came out? Literally less than 5 minutes before that, he was running out front but then got in the wrong line and drifted back a few spots. Then the caution and pit stop and he finishes 18th. His crew chief should be fired unless they were out of gasoline.

Starbuck's Iced Coffee May Have Fecal Matter In It

If you (generally) look up the amounts of that, it's very, very minimal and poses no health risk. If the milk comes from cows who don't have udder infections, the amount of pus is minuscule and only slightly more if there is an infection. -
Indeed. Indeed. The camera work is the same but the announcers, while seemingly knowledgeable, aren't as good overall, to me.

I went with Prince due to MJ being a kid toucher. He has some great songs but I can't overlook that.

Meh. Just about anything has some poop remnants on it but it doesn't really pose much of a health issue. Maybe increases the yucky factor but that's about all. I recently read a story and saw some security footage of a woman inserting hot dogs into her hoohaw before serving them. Now that is gross. -
When I was a kid and well into teenagerhood, I was a good liar and quite prolific. I could come up with an excuse or story on the fly and thought it was no big deal. As an adult, I have serious regrets about that. I understand it's distant history, but that doesn't mean it's forgotten. As for liars I know personally, luckily none spring to mind, except people that are just acquaintances. No friends that I'm aware of. Then again, they might be good liars...

Kasey Kahne. At this point, I should have just "forgotten" to pick each week and gotten Racer X.

If you were a fruit, what kind of fruit would you be and why?

Until you get to the center, then it's the pits. -
CDs aren't being abandoned for vinyl, they're being abandoned for iTunes and the like. Not whole albums worth of digital, but singles. Billboard album sales info Interesting that the best selling vinyl in 2016 was Blackstar but it only sold about 57,000 copies. That's paltry and shows that even though vinyl sales have increased over a decade ago, they're still very, very low compared to other formats.

I would be a banana, but one that never goes soft, and I want to live in a house with horny college girls. -
Now, now... I think he prefers the name Humpy. Do the Humpy dance. Oh wait, that was Humpty. Never mind.

The first non G rated movie I ever saw in a theater but only because I was staying with my great aunt and she took me. I sat down real close to the front (I was about 11 and movie going was pretty foreign to me, thanks to religion). Afterwards, my great aunt said it was just a dreadful movie. I didn't agree but felt bad she sat through it.

Fun fact, or maybe not, Engelbert Humperdinck is not the name he was given at birth, he changed it to that. Arnold George Dorsey must have been too pedestrian. Freakin' weirdo.

Blazing Saddles Monty Python's Life of Brian Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby Deadpool Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love The Bomb An Honorable Mention to, Borat! Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. I don't think I've ever laughed as much and as hard throughout an entire movie as I did watching that. Unfortunately it doesn't hold up because you already know all the bits.

It does seem pretty strange to put someone who most people have never heard of and couldn't name even one song he did up against an icon like Jerry Garcia. You're a riot. "most people have never heard of"? The only reason Garcia is a so-called "icon" is because he was part of that San Fran scene and many of his unwashed followers took so much acid they didn't really realize how crappy the Grateful Dead's music was.
