Figuring out a way around my physical limitations to fill a request from my wife to use my photography gear and skills to take pictures of birds in the yard. She wants glass prints to hang in the kitchen. I can shoot through the picture window in the living room. Even bought a new 26mp full frame camera to use. I am so excited. First time I’ve shot pictures in a little more than a year.

In my mind, I don’t feel 58. However, my body disagrees.

Interesting read. Thanks for the post.

Update to this post. I bought the electronic version of the book from the Apple book store. It was $13.00. Much easier to handle. I have a 12.9 inch iPad and it looks great. One great benefit is that you can zoom in on the pictures and see a lot more detail. I would buy this as a companion to the physical book even without my physical limitations. Highly recommend.

We'll keep posting anyway. Happy birthday, Lorraine! Only a Zelix miracle would bring her back. :( Truly all things are possible through Zelix. Oh ye of little faith. So miracles do happen?

That was my first Rush show. I remember thinking that the drummer didn’t look anything like the picture on the back of the album.

I agree. Kind of surprising especially after ATWAS sounded so good.

Nice packaging is cool, but how is the production? Does it sound $70.00 worth better than the CD?
-
I may pass on this one. The production was pretty bad on the CD. I imagine the transfer to the LP format didn’t help it improve. In fact, it may have made it a little worse.

I got to get to 2112 posts first!

Thanks everybody. Doesn’t seem like 11 years! I may even get my “2112” posting badge this year!

I’ve always said that they don’t have to tour anymore. I’ve been to my fair share of Rush shows. But please keep making new music! Even a song or two every now and then. I still believe that when you’re that creative for so long, it’s got to be hard to turn that creative switch off. Geddy’s book is a great example of that.
