  1. Jay becomes a priest, sexually abuses Manny which leads Manny down a path of phentanyl abuse which leads Manny to hustling blowjobs in vacant mall parking lots, catching THE Virus, questioning his identity (no big surprise), leading to his gender reassignment surgery and then dying during the recovery.
  2. It’s a crime that marijuana isn’t legal at least medicinally as I’ve had friends recovering from chemo who swear it’s the only thing that helped them struggle through the side effects of the treatment. As I’ve grown older I’d rather get eat a thc gummie and sip on some tea rather than slam beers and have a hangover. The marijuana train is coming so we’d better get in it or get ran over by it. Marijuana is probably going to end up being the “Soma” of our Brave New World.
  3. Can you believe that Alex has talked to Neil recently?? To think they both feel great could consider playing a little to scratch their musical itch? I don’t want to read between Lerxt’s lines but it seems like good news!!
  4. Hey Earl, Go f**k yourself. I can afford to buy anything i want at any time, anywhere. This is a shitty 40th anniversary release. Period. Sincerely, R. T. Pierpont.
  5. Hells bells...just listen to the whole pinkpop show on YouTube for free. This is a lackluster 40th anniversary for such an important album.
  6. Steel drum takes on Tai Shan, Rivendell, Madrigal & Tears are what the world needs right now.
  7. La Villa with PeW’s sonic profile/engineering would be a very interesting listen. Hard to imagine Spheres without it or La Villa swapped for Natti Sci.
  8. Do you really need 30+ minutes to react to a song? No. No you don’t. As mentioned above: LIV or nothing...99.9% of other reaction vids are silly ass trash.
  9. That looks like Captain Impossibly Gay.
  10. I think the Beatles are highly overrated, I don’t like Black Sabbath and I loathe Chicago Style Pizza. You think the Beatles are highly overrated, don't like Sabbath, and like the synth era? You're right about the casserole though. ;) Casserole?!?!? BLASPHEMY on a Sunday!!!
  11. Everyone that I’ve tried to indoctrinate (if you’re in my car you’re listening to Rush bitch!) just can’t get past Ged’s voice. I can appreciate that because it’s the same with me for a lot of the various metal genres and the growling, Cookie Monster “vocals”...hate it, can’t stand it, won’t listen to it regardless of how impressive their musicianship might be. I’m also that way with James LaBrie...just cannot stand his voice. But I do love Dickinson’s operatic style. So it really makes no sense and is totally subjective to the listener.
  12. I love HYF. However I think the Guys At Work messed up the track order. They HAD, HAD, HAD to start the album with Tai Shan. Followed by Second nature. Other than that it’s brilliant. I do love it though.
  13. As there are decades of stories to adapt (or original screenplays they’d like to write), there’s plenty of room for comic book movies. Saying there’s no more room for comic book movies is the same as saying there’s no more room for horror movies, sci-fi, etc. I mean there doesn’t seem to be room outside of Marvel and Batman.
  14. DC is caught between needing to mimic the near perfect, if not repetitive, mix of drama, comedy & action of Marvel and trying to be a darker, more adult comic movie based on comics that have no need to be dark & serious (outside Batman v. The Joker). Plus...marvel basically owns the comic book movie genre and has almost worn it out so that there’s seemingly no room for more comic book movies outside of Batman.
  15. From an artist’s point of view the Vegas residency concept makes a ton of sense and probably makes for a nice stable income. The fans come to them and they doesn’t get road weary, get to have a normal home life...sounds like a musician’s dream rather than whoring out (though it can be).
  16. SRV was a vessel through which flowed the magic that allowed us to touch the bottom of God’s feet (to paraphrase Santana). Texas Flood live was and is a transcendent experience surpassed perhaps only by the mathematical perfection of Bach’s Fugues.
  17. Whoah, whoah, whoah....have you heard presto & rtb?
  18. Crappy bland music always sells. Especially crappy bland music by some soft, pasty millennial puke who writes songs debasing any shred of masculinity and offering it to the alter of millennial puke females for their approval. Gag.
  19. Presto could have been done by Tears 4 Fears. There’s not much I find inspiring or vibrant on it. I wish T4F would have made it rather than Rush.
  20. WHAT??? Presto has some his most pedestrian drumming. Check that: it is the most pedestrian drumming he did. From the epics of COS - ‘Spheres to arena rock of MP & PeW to the electronica of GUP-HYF there’s WAY more interesting, challenging & experimental drumming then anything on Presto.
