Thx Syrinx Any idea avg age on bourbon st? I have heard so many people say to completely avoid it, that all real music is gone and its clubbing and college kids. I want to see it but if thats all that is there I would be wasting my time. I want to see "world class musicians"! I appreciate everyone's help!

LOL yes it is a real possibility, they are not Wisc! 3rd string qb, an OC that is the HC at another school already (how much is he game planning when he is trying to recruit at his new school?) I'm going cuz one of my players is on the team, AND its a chance to finally get to NOLA. They might lose, but I can't!

As a person who loves experiencing culture, I was hoping that someone might be able to give me pointers on where to go and not to go when I am there. I am 42 and am much more interested in the food/MUSIC than puking in a gutter. I obviously would like to see Bourbon Street for a little bit, but it is my understanding that the REAL music and culture is better found on Frenchmen Street. True? From my hotel I can easily get to both areas. Anyone have suggestions of places to go and/or to avoid? I will be in town for New Years Eve, arriving the day before, and leaving the day after the football game, so I have about 3 good days to check it out. Any experienced or locals?? Football related...Go Buckeyes!

Before I drop $ on typical UA, or Nike, tights I would like to see if anyone here could suggest THERMAL i.e. COLD WEATHER tights. I have to train outside this winter for Nashville Marathon, etc. thanks.

my kid, Chris Watt, was at the combine this year but only did the bench press (29) and 40 (5.5) his Pro Day at ND is this coming Thursday where he will do all other NFL eval drills... His team of people has him projected in Round 4 (hopefully doesn't fall) in draft at Center or Gaurd. and I actually like watching the combine. Billionaires want to know what they are investing Millions in, and of course I know that #'s and these tests do not translate to how you will play, but if they are invited to the combine the billionaires (rightfully so) think they CAN play... but I would like to see counting with their toes lmao!

never was an ND fan, but one of my players just finished there and is now training for the draft. #66 Chris Watt, great kid hoping he goes in the 2nd round. Since he is done, prob wont be paying too much attention anymore.

I thought I loved Rush, then I heard the St. Louis show... and it went to a whole nother level!

I got lucky too, I've seen some great STP shows. Huge fan, not eternally like Rush, but I really liked everything they did, and believe that they had great material that was not on radio too. If it was an Rush bash, so what. Still gonna like STP, and hope for them to find a way to move forward. I really dont think the boys are gonna try to find him in an alley (cuz thats where you can probably find him! LOL)
