The most difficult round of these Sabbath polls! I voted for MOR: it's maybe more a 'tipycal' Sabbath album, it's plenty of metal history classics and it's darker than SBS, but SBS is the creative peak of the band (it don't mean that it is their best album anyway...)

They have just announced UK dates for November 2017; it seems the tour will be named 'Long Goodbye' and they will be surely around in 2018 (it's their 50th anniversary)

How many on vinyl? None anymore I've gone right off vinyl, though I do still have quite a few vinyl records from back in the day. There's a huge pile of them upstairs here. What have you got mate? I think I have nine or ten Paranoid versions between CDs and vinyls (including the ones belonging to box sets) - with the debut album it's even worse - and I still worship the 1970s Vertigo UK original LPs of the early albums I haven't bought the new Super Deluxe 4CD mainly because I already own great quality bootlegs of the live shows.

I loved Ray in Jake E. Lee's Badlands albums. They were a great band but probably at a wrong time. They would have more luck even today.

Usually things switch when you start playing arenas rather then theatres. (i.e. Wembley Arena - or now O2 Arena - instead of Hammersmith Odeon in London)

I remember reading some years ago of an episode happened with U2 in Russia: they had to meet then president Medvedev and Bono asked someone of the entourage if Medvedev liked The Beatles and reply was that his favourite band are Deep Purple. Hahaha! Hey you "Old" GEEZER! I am so proud! My 19 year old daughter is playing community college soccer this year. They won their conference! First time ever in Diablo Valley College History! They just ripped through three playoff games and won them all. I am driving down to see Zoe play in the semi-finals on Friday in Ventura! If they win they play in the FINAL on Sunday!!!!! SO PUMPED!!! I think STEVE HOWE IS QUITE A "MESSI" when it comes to playing guitar solos at an old age. HACKETT BLOWS HOWE AWAY!!! At least Hackett still tours and does the GENESIS REVISITED STUFF!! "Seconds Out" is EPIC. Once Hackett left I will admit I became disheartened. Alas, I can still deal with the Collins shit. However... "Calling All Stations" blows all of the Heckett-less albums away. Yes drives me nuts. I can listen to Genesis for two weeks straight. When I get into a YES mode it only lasts a day. I mean seriously folks. The idiots in the world who rip on Geddy's high vocals? Dumb. Jon Anderson eventually makes me want to put steak knives in my earholes. I remember hearing "Owner Of A Lonely Heart" for the first time. I said to myself... Who is this female lead singer? Or is it really a chick with a dick? Jon Anderson is a Legend. Don't get me wrong. But seriously? Singing about love, unicorns and fairy dust is pretty fuckking weak. GENESIS UNTIL MY GRAVE! It's always a horrible kind of news. Here in Italy we had a similar aircrash involving Turin in 1949 (they had just won their fifth league title in a row!) and in Europe Manchester United suffered almost the same fate in 1958 but in that case I think there were some survivors.
