All the reports of the pre-draft interviews paint Sanders as an arrogant disinterested entitled punk. He just confirmed what the rumors were before the interviews. I haven't read any report of him having a good interview. What's driving me nuts is some in the press saying he was getting picked on, collusion, blah blah blah. Son if you have a shitty interview you ain't getting the job...that's how the real world works. Now you're just another 5th round pick which is disposable as a wad of toilet paper.

welcome to QB purgatory son!

more like a party appetizer but wouldn't stop me from filling up as a meal. I've had much worse garbage that called itself a meal.

Nothing screams 'don't hit me!' when you're throwing off your back foot when there's not even a rush.

NFL executives placing a phone call to Shedeur Sanders last night.

The top OGs went higher than expected starting with Dallas. Jerry loves his flashy toys so I'm kinda surprised he didn't pick Golden.

well done Rod!

On the third day, they removed the rock covering Jesus tomb and out hopped 20 rabbits. You might laugh but that actually makes sense to a 5 year old.

Wake me up in August and I might get interested. Season is too damn long...as annoying as a 5 hour movie.

I remember my dad hearing The Camera Eye one time and he said the opening part sounds like cats singing. I guess I never got over that.

Somehow I don't think New Kids on the Block would have that album cover impact of ATWAS. I remember thinking 'I don't really know these guys, but if the album is like the cover...this is gonna rawk!'

Rush was not listened to by my small circle of friends in high school. On top of that, the only FM radio that I could get was the typical AOR of the 70s...boston, eagles, fleetwood mac, etc. I remember seeing the 2112 album on the list of Columbia House records for 10 for a penny. That caught my curiosity since our house address was 2112 first street. Totally being honest...that house was built by my father and still in the family and currently owned by my nephew.

I bought ATWAS without ever hearing Rush. Big leap of faith since that was a double album and ran about $10 at the time. The kickass cover sold it for me. Once Bastille starting playing I was hooked.

but the main riff is a ripoff of In the mood.

Well done Rod! Great job throwing in some obscure questions. So many of these interviews ask the same questions.

Do you still use any dedicated devices? If so, what?

I remember trying out our first GPS...a Tomtom. I was using it to get directions to my son's baseball team party even though I generally knew where it was. It told us to go down this one dirt street in the middle of grape vineyards. Grapes grow in sandy soil. The dirt turned into sand and got deeper and deeper and eventually we got stuck 20 feet from pavement. 2 hours later we were pulled out by a tow truck. That day forward Tomtom was renamed Tommy Boy and the family reminds me of this story 20 years later. I think that was the GPS that kept telling me to turn left on a freeway. And now we're placing blind trust in AI. Who the hell is checking AI to make sure it's right? -

As a former technology professional, I used to argue with my colleagues that most of the revolutionary tech ideas peaked about 20 years ago. Safe to say that we'd all be fine using entertainment/mobile tech from 15 years ago. -
The early misses you could write off as them being experimental and trying to find their way. But post Signals, they should have known better when a song was a stinker and to replace it before it became a zombie. My standard line is 'for a band that created Hemispheres, you're telling me that song is your best effort?' Post Terry Brown there was just too much acceptance of the subpar...hey the fans are loyal, it'll still sell.
