    Question

What "random stuff" could a 15 year old girl talk "for hours" to Neil Peart about that'll make him "be friendly"...while not appearing to be a fan? She should read up on bicycling in Africa, BMW motorcycles, and single malt Scotch. ;) If she just shows up at his door with a bottle of The Macallan, and holds it out like Rey held out Luke's lightsaber at the end of the last Star Wars movie, she'll be his new best buddy. :LMAO:http://img.cinemablend.com/cb/e/2/0/f/5/4/e20f54e3f65ce187605033ffbada9f88ef923cc07a8f037ff1da5d436d8e9822.jpg That made me bust out laughing!
  7. He started this thread so we all could suggest titles :)
  8. I guess not because I don't know what that means. Are you a fan of saxophones?
  9. Canada is really similar to the USA, except most people will say "sorry" a lot. If you're using a credit card, the bank will take care of the exchange and when you get your statement, your bill will be in US dollars. If you bring cash, I'm sure there is a money exchange at the airport for you to get some cash. I would guess that 100 USD will probably get you about 130 Can dollars, give or take the fees for the exchange, but don't exchange too much, because if you go back and exchange your Canadian for USD the difference will likely be a net loss - 130.00 Canadian dollars will allow you to buy 95.00 USD. My first RC I went by myself - you won't be alone for long. (Barney Rebel showed me the ropes!) Most people are so very friendly - and go to the mixer, a little liquid courage, and you're going to have all kinds of friends to hang with. Don't be shocked by our 13% sales tax, and extraordinary liquor prices - Actually, don't even bother exchanging money. Just take it out at a Canadian ATM.
  10. No. Can you read music?
  11. I've got no shows at all coming up. Oh well.

    Question

:goodone: For the record, I wasn't trying to be mean. I was trying to let her know that hers was a very bad idea. I assumed that as a big fan she knew at least something about Neil, and that he does not like this kind of thing.
  13. Awww...come on now. You can't hate this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dWDJhLCgdo I can't say I hate it, but it's one of those genres that just never clicked with me.

  16. You do not. So you need one! Does anyone have any suggestions for Brucey?
  17. You should have reported the store. It was the culprit in the bad taste of the sandwich. I've loved plenty of junk food (still love some) but surprisingly I've never even tried a Big Mac. It's always looked gross to me....all that nasty sauce oozing out when people bite down. I've loved Big Macs ever since I ate one back in the early '70s. The sauce isn't nasty either, you just may have an aversion to thousand island-like dressings[but the dressing is NOT Thousand Island, I looked it up on one of those recipe sites] I've loved plenty of junk food (still love some) but surprisingly I've never even tried a Big Mac. It's always looked gross to me....all that nasty sauce oozing out when people bite down. It a thousand island dressing and bread sandwich. The 'meat' is just an afterthought. It's two 'regular' sized beef patties in a triple bun arrangement, includes cheese, chopped onions, pickles and sesame seeds on the bun. If you weren't impressed by the beef, that's a subjective call on your part, and every Big Mac I've experienced has been up to company standards, and delicious! I first wife worked on and off at various McD's in this area, and when we were first dating, and she was on Close shift, I got a LOT of McD's food for FREE. None of it was EVER bad. sometimes at bit cool, but never bad. The first burger I ever had was a regular McDonald's burger, and I like it, as well as the regular cheese burger, which was my favorite until the double cheese burger was introduced. The Quarter Pounder with Cheese, [or ROYALE with cheese if you're from France] I liked better because of the bigger pieces of chopped onions on them. I've sampled just about all of their stuff over the years, and NONE of it was prepared badly. If you report a specific store, McD's Corporate takes that stuff VERY seriously. After that, it's up to the Manager's discretion, and they'll get FIRED pretty quickly if the situation isn't adressed quickly. I've seen two different Arby's shut down by the local FDA or whomever does that crap, and lots of other stores also. NEVER HAD A McDonalds shut down in this area. So talk all the sh*t you want, but the food industry it pretty well run these days if you have the patience to let the 'watchers' do their thing, and DROP the ELITEST attitude and actually LISTEN to the commercials and see the blurb at the restaurants, they do what they say they will, and the rest is up to YOUR TASTES. LOL You haven't read Fast Food Nation, have you?

    Question

Why do you even ask these questions? If you know anything about Neil you know that he abhors people who stalk him like this. I am just asking a question. Sheesh. I am not planing to stalk him. Showing up at a celebrity's house uninvited is stalking.
  19. I've only been here about three years so I don't remember you from back then, but welcome back!
