  1. Rummaging through many failed attempts of writing either a short story or even a novel.
  2. Leftover Boeuf Stroganoff. I don't know if the spelling is the same, but it is basically a slow cooked beef stew with onions, mushrooms, bacon, paprika and cream. Goes well with mashed potatoes.
  3. I remember when you first posted pictures of your lovely daughter, and seeing these now reminds me how time flies. Fortunately you seem to enjoy every second of it :)
  4. Me and my niece at a Christmas fair
  5. Town Hall
  6. Well, my 2017 concert wise (so far) is: Gojira in Copenhagen and Rammstein in Horsens (also Denmark, just closer to home). Maybe many more. I'm hoping for new Mastodon material since I read they hooked up with Brendan O'Brian who produced Crack The Skye which is my favorite Mastodon record. On the other hand I gave up hoping for new Tool material. It'll be released some year. Peter Gabriel touring is very likely and I will likely catch one of his shows. I'm starting to expand my record collection with comedy. I got some Bill Hicks and Bill Burr and I'm really hoping that Bill Burr will release his next special on vinyl also. Other than that I can't think of anymore that's on my radar.
  7. Just placed an order for this bad boy here. Well not exactly this one but one similar. Finally I'm off to shooting medium format film, and one step closer to completely letting go of digital photography.
  8. I'm torn between heart and reason! I can get myself a Hasselblad 500 c/m camera with either a 'portrait' lens or 'street' lens for less than the usual second hand prices. Problem is that the money I have might (okay, will) be better spend on a deposit when I move into an apartment in a foreseeable future. Oh, but my heart is aching!
  9. George Orwell's 1984
  10. The Return of the Pink Panther Love it!
  11. My hair is thinning rapidly. I think this stress I've been through has made me lose some hair. Alas, the inevitable. Deary me
  12. But what episode is it? 8-12 doesn't make sense to me. Well I guess it means August 12th but what year? :)
  13. I like his style and don't mind the swearing at all. Listen to his podcast every monday and thursday :)
  14. I started the day being in a foul mood, but somewhere along the day I forgot about it and now I'm feeling happy. Simple as that ;) For the moment I have a lot on my plate and a lot of uncertainties, so I'm not here as much as you may have noticed - if you have noticed at all . But I'll check in on ya from time to time. :hi:
  15. John Wick. Kind of zoned out here and there but that didn't ruin the movie.
  16. Can you pronounce them? ;) I've owned Sehnsucht forever it seems like...bought it right after it was released.... "Du Hast" was the hit I bought it for, but I love THE WHOLE ALBUM!!! I started listening to them in the mid-90s. The first time I saw them live ('97 or '98) was when I heard the best description of their live shows: "Fire, guitars, and screaming Germans - what more could you ask for?!" Like the story Chad Smith tells about Till Lindemann in the Made in America documentary: "First there's the fire of the mind" "Then there's the fire of the heart" "And then there's just fire - HA HA HA HA"
  17. Can you pronounce them? ;) I've owned Sehnsucht forever it seems like...bought it right after it was released.... "Du Hast" was the hit I bought it for, but I love THE WHOLE ALBUM!!! Sehnsucht is a wonderful album with nothing but great songs
  18. Spend a small fortune on 3 Rammstein records today. Herzeleid, Sehnsucht and Rosenrot
  19. My mom was next to me for 2 Rush shows, and nearby for another 2  here's to cool moms :D
  20. This thursday I got to experience Rammstein for the second time, this time with family and close friends. A highlight was being close to the stage with my 59 year old mom, and she loved it. A particular cool feat was that this was at a festival in my hometown. My mom is cool
  21. Went to Danish Airshow 2016 yesterday. 140.000 people attended the event which was amazing. The only downside is that I didn't get to see the flyby of a B52 bomber, but we decided to split a little before time, to avoid getting stuck in traffic. http://www.danishairshow.dk/images/made/files/images/news/11633_Turkish_Stars_2518_536_300_80_c1.jpg http://www.danishairshow.dk/images/made/files/images/aircrafts/Swiss_AF/SP_Display_5petite__536_300_80_c1.jpg
  22. I got most of my musical curiosity from my mother, even though my father was a musician. The older I get the more I see the similarities between my father and I. My mother doesn't make a fuzz of anything, and my father was more passive-aggresive in a way. When he was watching the news and I was talking an ear off, he wouldn't tell me to keep quiet, but just turn the TV up louder, until I got the point. I have that same passive-aggresiveness in me. This is hard to describe. It's in the details. My father would need quiet time, especially when he got home from work, and I have periods during the day where I need to be alone too. My mom is more carefree, happy and very social. So if I broad-brush; my outgoing energies comes mostly from my mother, and my inward energies comes mostly from my father. I just recently realized that I'm quite the solitary guy - but not lonely.
  23. This documentary was well done, but it only told one side of the story. Because of that, it came across to me as more of a propaganda piece. I think propaganda is too strong a word, but definitely one-sided. Well, it definitely had an agenda and it left me with more questions than answers. I think it made some valid points, but I would have liked to hear at least some of the other side to know how valid they were. Absolutely. It's a shame Sea World refused to partake.
