  1. Deary me! Has it already been 3 years? Well, I wouldn't have stayed if it wasn't for all the lovely people here, so thank you very much
  2. I love strawberry cheesecake
  3. http://blog.memes.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/love-lamp.png
  4. Did 30 kilometers on my road bike in one hour and 18 minutes. Felt good. My goal is to ride 40 kilometer in an hour and a half.
  5. He's a dangerous looking man. Looks to me like the type that likes to beat women. Buffalo Bill. The antagonist in the movie adaptation of Silence Of The Lambs.
  6. Met up with some classmates after school for some beers and a good time, to celebrate the last lecture of this semester. You know those times where the mood is so great, that you're all in tears laughing? Then I decided to play a little prank on a friend. Said friend and I were working together on a project that unfortunately didn't get approved the first two out of three tries. Today at noon was the third and last one, and the consequences would be taking the semester again. So, this friend of mine is currently somewhere in Spain on vacation, so the minute after I checked that the project had been approved, I texted him that we hadn't been approved, and that the teacher had called us into a meeting due to claims of plagiarism. He fell for it and then wrote that he almost threw his phone into the swimming pool! :laughing guy:
  7. Happy birthday to the second best username ;)
  8. Got my last school assignment approved today, so now I'm ready to study for the exam :)
  9. 190 cm and 82 kgs. Or said with imperial measures: 6',2" and 182 lbs.
  10. I have to say this is so beautiful. I love the cover. When I lined all my Gojira records up on the floor, it struck me how coherent their artwork is. Most band's artwork is all over the place, but with Gojira it seems streamlined. Almost as if it was meant to be that way all along.
  11. Received a special package from France today. Limited to 500 copies. Now I'm waiting for the The Link Alive LP.
  12. What is that? Isn't he a doll? That's Ludwik, the bald guinea pig (I think that's what it is). Treeduck posted a bunch of pictures of him. I'll find the thread and post the link here for you. Here's the link: http://www.therushfo...-aieeeeeeeeeee/ I remember seeing that thread title but thought to myself "Nah, I'll pass on that one"
  13. Watching a Heaven & Hell concert from Wacken on Youtube, drinking a glass (or two) of red wine and geeking out on amps and guitars :)
  14. Escape From Alcatraz. Wonderful movie and I love the fact that we as an audience are on the island the whole time.
  15. Writing down my thoughts before bedtime.
  16. I hear you. Sadly my mind is not wired that way. I tend to worry all the time. Edit: I forgot to say thanks for your condolences :) So do I. I learned it from my Mom. She worried about EVERYTHING...I adapt. I've started a long time ago, to AVOID Worrying!!! LOL http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j223/OldRUSHfan/Banana%20World/bananaParty.gif The way I see it we're f***ed anyway (now there's a good way to use that word haha) so we can either let it knock us down, or we can say 'to hell with it' and get back up. I'm 32 years of deeply rooted habits, so if I'm not to end up like a miserable bastard sitting in a basement and screaming up at the younger, happier kids, I better start changing my ways :codger:

  18. Thanks a lot for your thoughts and condolences it means a lot to me. I don't think it really sets in until I visit my mom and her dog is not there.
  19. My mom had to have her dog put down today. She was sick and they discovered that she had arthritis and a tumor. Instead of putting her through a lot for gaining maybe 6 months, my mom decided that it was time to put her to rest. It was the right thing to do but it still makes me sad. Must be hard for my mom. She has had her dog for 12 years and all of a sudden it got quiet.
  20. very Joe Bonamassa I actually have a guitar like that one. One day I'll make a picture just like that :guitar: I remember when you were naming that one... What did you decide on? I never could decide. How do people even name stuff let alone children? It's hard. I actually got inspired seeing Rod's picture of him and his daughter Stella. First I had envisioned something having to do with gold (obviously), but nothing with gold sounds great. I want something that will sound cool to the ears of a danish guy. So that got me thinking. Stella means star. My father died which is how I got the guitar to begin with, so there's a connection. A story that will inspire me. Then I started looking for different words for the same and found Astra. But ... I think Stella works. Rod, I hope this is not weird :)
  21. I actually like the contrast between the old and modern :).
