  1. I must admit . I liked it . :o http://i755.photobucket.com/albums/xx196/ipalakpatel/iron-man-3_zpsa2bd97b6.jpg
  2. Great call Hemi. Without doubt 2 songs that can never ever be played without one or the other . Life Is Sweet / After Life - Maria Mckee When I first heard these I thought they were one song . :smoke: Then again they may well be ... No they cant be .
  3. Great news , I hope they tour . :sundog: .
  4. I`m still hoping I can get a ticket for Tuesday at Manchester . :(
  5. I always thought this was it . Generals gathered in their masses Just like witches at black masses Evil minds that plot destruction Sorcerers of death's construction In the fields the bodies burning As the war machine keeps turning Death and hatred to mankind Poisoning their brainwashed minds
  6. One of the greatest albums ever made . I saw The Wall in 1980 But when I saw Waters 2 year ago doing the Wall . It was the best gig I`ve ever been too . period . Your in for a treat mate .
  7. Really? With the universe of songs out there you would put this one in the top 5? Yep . It was not what Rock was all about . Thank god for Nirvana . If you're talking generally about grunge killing off 80s metal, I actually think GNR did more to kill themselves off than Nevermind. That`s what I`m sayin . I really almost lost my faith in Rock in the 80`s and the main reason was Spandex head band wearing nightmares like GnR . Just my opinion . But a good one . :ebert:

  9. Tough question . But if I had to put it into Catogories . Rap . Any 5 Rap songs would be in there . Rock I could easily go with any 5 Nickleback songs , even though I Only know 2 and thats all I want to know . But . November Rain - G n R ( and must be the cheesiest Video ever ) That Kid Rock one that sounds like Sweet Home Alabama Always - Bon Joval - it`s a bucket song for sure Right Here Right Now - Kiss . Another shocking video to put the cherry on top Santa Claus Is Coming To Town - Bruce Windscreen . - Anyone disagrees needs to see an ear specialist I shall now take a short break and build up the sandbags and dig out my old Air Warden Helmet.
  10. :haz: The Beatles are Metal! :haz: Revolution Helter Skelter Yer Blues It`s All Too Much Why Don`t We Do It In the Road Everybody`s Got Something To Hide Except For Me And My Monkey Birthday Hey Bulldog I`ve Got A Feeling She`s So Heavy Now that would make one hell of a Metal album

  18. Really? Thats not fair. Rush would never place themselves over anyone. Its not in their personallity. Even when commenting on KISS they could only mention the positive aspects of the band. I do really think they would . What was the album that made Geddy want to be come a musician ? Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin . Neil . A big Who fan . But I really think that the respect they would give a band that most importantly change the face of music would be that The Beatles are "better " than Zep , The Who and evey band in the entire universe . I.M.O. As you may gather I am a Beatles fan , but I saw Rush first in 78 then McCartney in 79 . I do love Rush . But would you say Rush are "Better " than Zeppelin ? Anyone hear Zeppelin before Rush and think that Zepp are the bigger than The Beatles ? Then here Rush and say they are better than Zepp. Interesting how many people would have really sat down and listened to The Beatles after they had become a Rush maniac I am saying that The Beatles turned me onto Music in such a way that I would go to the record shop and try a new release 12 inch single called Closer To The Heart. The Beatles are more than just a band they became a path to follow into Rock/Blues / Folk/Psychedelia / Experimental and of course Prog .
  19. Ask Geddy , Alex and Neil this question and you would get the same answer as me . The Beatles .
  20. have you seen them with bruce? I`m not really a Maiden fan ...Sorry . Umist was a Rock Disco every saturday , which I went religious for about 7 years none stop . So on that night there was no Disco it was a couple of bands . Of course most people went anyway. So did I. So I could`nt even tell you sang . I could be wrong as it was a very long time ago , but I`m sure they were unsigned . ? I was slowly drifting into the wonderful world of Prog at that time and I was`nt very keen on Maiden . Sorry .
  21. I always love this question . Rush Manchester Apollo , 1978. I still have my ticket . :D (And Program ) http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x117/coxy2112/rush-2.jpg

  23. I find hard to listen to Macca`s new stuff these days . But this sounds ok Maybe it is the Beatle influence that pulls me into it . :)
