Same. I have three teenagers, and the internet has been a blessing and a curse. With all of the positives, there is still the element where people can hide behind their computers and bully each other and be hateful and post horrible images and statements about people they don't like. All of this while being relatively anonymous, faceless. And, things can get out of hand quickly because it's impossible to accurately interpret a person's posts, comments, tweets, what have you, in the same way you can face-to-face. It can be a real mess, especially for young people like Surrender, where their fragility can be even more problematic.

Your kidlings must be all grown up now eh? The two older kids are now adults, and the younger is in full-blown teenage Armageddon mode. Which is quite fitting for this thread. No more little kids makes me sad. :( And OLD! :codger: Your boys are probably grown, too? Yeah, youngest one is married! He lived here for a couple years and is now taking journalism courses in Vancouver BC. Oldest one is in Vancouver as well being an extra in movies. Miss them like mad. And same as you, miss them being little. Not ready to be a grandma though Neither am I! The grandma thing freaks me out on many levels.

It's 77 degrees F in North Central Texas right now with overcast skies and light rain. A STARK difference from last Thursday's high of 107. No complaints at all!

Typical summer temps here in Central Texas, around 93 degrees F. However.... with the humidity factored in, it feels like 104F. :sundog: :fury:
