  1. If I may... MitA is only one of the best sound tech guys ever! He can pull Geddy's vocals out of the most horrible live recordings, tweak it and make it sound like Ged is standing in your living room singing Xanadu just for you and your confused mom and grandma.
  2. I like Colman's too. But, mustards like Colmans are a completely different thing from American mustard like French's. Yellow, or "American", mustard is more super tangy and vinegary (and way too yellow) and pretty much meant to be mainly a condiment for stuff like hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches and stuff. I'd use Colmans in a recipe. I would NOT use French's yellow in a recipe.
  3. I'm so glad he's gone. He treated some of our best acquisitions like pawns. I finally have some hope for them.
  4. I was so sad to hear about her passing. Songbird is one of my favorite Fleetwood Mac songs. Her voice was so pure and beautiful.
  5. Jacob deGrom to the Texas Rangers, 5 yrs $185 million, and I'm already NOT missing Jon Daniels!
  6. What made my day today is that I'm posting on TRF for the first time in a long time. I've missed this place. It looks a lot different, but I know it's the same at the same time. I still see some of the OG's like me and that's so cool.
  7. Wow! Nice to see Mita again. He's amazing
  8. This such sad news. ORF was a genuinely kind and thoughtful person. Rest in Peace, sir.
  9. In North Texas right now, it's 103 F and feels like 106. It won't get below 100 until around 9 p.m. Gotta "love" August in Texas.
  10. I have pangs, every once in a while still, where I can't believe Neil is gone. And, my heart sinks.
  11. It's an amazing thing! I hope you had a wonderful birthday, RR. Here's to you:
  12. I love that photo - so poignant now. Is this before SARS? I'll try to look and find out. Cygnus-x1.net has it posted as a backstage photo from the R40 concert in Dallas, TX in May 2015. It's sooo Neil- observing others while not being seen himself . . . I was at that show with my kids!!!!

  17. Congratulations on 8 years on The Rush Forum. And, a few years of us debating if you are actually Alex. Either way, yay! We are all glad you are here.
  18. My original title was The Welcoming Committee.
  19. Holy crap. LOL! We did retire it, yes. It was fun, but so many people were joining that it became too hard to keep up. Love you for digging it up, though. So much history here.
  20. TRF is quoted a few times here: https://www.alternativenation.net/paul-stanley-reveals-really-killed-neil-peart/
  21. I know. Me too. I LOVE YOU Love you too, sis. I'm so grateful for TRF more than ever. Without it, I would feel so alone in my sadness right now.
  22. This band has been such an integral part of my life since the age of 13, it's like I've just lost a family member. I'm just wandering around my house and then sitting down again, feeling pretty lost. This really hurts.
