  1. If it burns when you pee, its not the hot sauce.
  2. I actually found some in Publix a few years ago. We brought back the container from Palm Beach so we would know what to look for. We eventually found it at Publix in a small container. The container we saved was four times the size. Now we never see it anymore. Thanks for the link. I will check it out.
  3. Thanks everyone for the feedback. My wife ordered each of us shirts yesterday. Supposed to take 2-3 weeks delivery.
  4. Hope this is okay in this section? Been looking at some shirts and stuff at Rush.com Backstage and was wondering about the quality of the clothing? My wife wants a new tee for the show and so do I. The R-40 tee to be exact. Is the Backstage the only place to buy Rush apparel and how is the quality. I am willing to pay for good quality merchandise. TIA
  5. Yes, I have been looking for it up here also. The brand we had when down there was "Atlantis" smoked fish dip, I think. They make it with several different large fish too. It was served on crackers with one round of jalepeno and a couple drops habanero sauce. Fantastic. I think my friend bought it at Sam's in Palm Beach. We cannot find it here.
  6. How about a link to those 35 FB meet up groups.
  7. ^^^ This trumps all for me. Sure I am going alone and "only" disposed of 125 bucks to do it. Would I love to have spent the 500 and had my family there? Yes. But first and foremost they are my band not there's so I need to be a realist.... Are you going to Greensboro or Atlanta?
  8. And why "Circumstances" is left out.
  9. Its a shame a girl should have to go alone. If I wasn't married i would take you myself. Good luck on the ticket and have you checked the re-sales? Very expensive, but its your call. I paid for our two seats big time.

I hear the OP loud and clear. Had this not been a Rush concert, I would have folded and said "f**k this"! Its wrong on multuiple levels for people to be able to get away with this. Its not the American way or is it even capitalism. Its theft. I was lucky and only paid 2.5 times the face value by a reseller. All ticketbasterd has to do is stop re=sales! Sell a limited amout of tickets to one account and do not allow them to sell them again on their web site. If they want to re-sell, let them stand outside before the show. Or go to Craigslist. Best part is, I think the original owner of these seats will be sitting right next to me. I can hardly wait!
  11. I like canned tuna as long as its packed in olive oil. Its hard to find sometimes, but way better than packed in water. Eating canned tuna in moderation is the key to a healthy diet. As said above, the bigger the fish, the more mercury. This is one reason skip jack tuna is a good choice. They are harvested small and there is little issue with populations. Something about a cold tuna salad sandwich at the beach. Just seems right.
  12. We use Franks on everything. It helps that its available in Costco and two big bottles are under $7.00. I like Tabasco on eggs though. Its quite hot IMO. Franks and Tabasco are made from cayenne peppers. Both taste completely different. Must be due to Tabasco is fermented/aged where Franks is not. I think?
  13. I was in the drug store and I faintly heard a Rush song. It was a great song and I never expected to hear it on the radio over the speakers in the store. Just as I was ready to ask the pharmacist what station he had it on, he asked me to turn down my music! Seems I was listening to my phone in the truck and did not turn off the tunes and brought the music inside with me. I did learn one thing. My pharmacist does not like Rush. I may find a new pharmacist.
  14. Whats up with the Grateful Dead? Why are/were they so popular? I don't see anything interesting about them and they sound like a cross between bluegrass and blues? I know a giant fan and he thinks they are the best. I just don't get it.
  15. Looking at the tour dates I see they take only a one day break, before playing again. They are playing every other night. It would seem they could take three, maybe even four days off between shows to rest up. Why do they cram so much into the schedule?
  16. Weed smoke? Last time I smelled pot or smoked pot at a concert was in the 80's. Maybe an outside concert its possible and probable. But since smoking anything is not allowed, how does one even get to smoke at the show? I am asking. I would love to bring a joint. But I would not like being thrown out either. So, are people actually smoking inside at shows, I guess is my question. They were not at the last Rush concert here. Time Machine.
  17. Medium rare. My wife likes hers well done. Must run in the family or the area as most people here in the south like well done it seems. No offense south. Just a perception I have. It makes it difficult on me as I do all the cooking and grilling. To have to make a well done steak is very hard, as I feel like I am wasting good money. Throwing good money down the drain. Then I had my MIL here for 6 months and she too likes it ruined. (well done) I got a little irritated once and told both of them i was going to keep the rib eyes for me and make them pot roast instead.
  18. As a customer myself, I can say this attitude thing goes both ways. In particular, customer service reps handing customer phone calls is where I have found the issue. I try my very best not to call anyone and try to work things out myself. But sometimes you have to call them. I can honestly say, most CSR's are polite, but many have no clue as to what they are doing. I had one yesterday from the phone company. His way of doing business was to talk and talk and talk until the customer either hangs up or blows up. I had to tell him to please be quite for one minite so i could ask one simple question. He f***in hung up on me! So, if you work as a CSR and have telephone duties, please see the other side of this argument. The majority of people performing these jobs are highly under paid and under trained. So I do get it.
  19. I printed mine out and they look fine. I even saved the page (might be timed out by now) with the tickets on it. I still will take my order number, the fullpage tickets and the credit card I used to purchse them with. I would verify they are indeed real. Could be a scam? I hope not, but mine printed perfectly from TM.
  20. I am taking the comment as sarcastic as no child at 6 months old has any maturity. Your lucky if they are even potty trained at 6 months. Think about a crying, vomiting and shitting 6 month old next to you. NO effin way!
  21. I don't know about the US, but here in Europe people always complain that "prices have gone up 50% since 1996". Yeah well... but their nominal wages have gone up AT LEAST 70% since 1996. For some weird reason they never remember that. In the US wages have gone down not up. You see the US does not care if a person makes enough to live on. Got to keep McDonalds hamburgers cheap ya know.
  22. Who wants to hear a damn baby crying at a concert? I don't and people who bring kids should turned away at the door. (Toddlers and babies) I am more concerned with the people that spent their hard earned money for tickets and end up with a crying baby close to them. Bringing a baby is selfish.
  23. I did not like the album at first, now i'm quite fond of it. I really like 7 Cities of Gold. Great bass.
  24. I am taking my beautiful wife of 23 years. Lucky for me she loves Rush too!
  25. Nothing wrong with Tom Petty. However, I miss that mug of howie Epstein on bass and vocals. Grass Dogs at the Filmore was a very very good example of Petty in form.
