  1. I was pretty bummed. It's one of my faves off of CA!
  2. When is this happening? Wasn't it supposed to be in September? I fear it's been delayed for the holiday season now. :(
  3. I totally expected Limelight tonight but then I heard the opening drumline to The Body Electric and got hyped up. Sucks for the casual zombies around me!
  4. At tonight's show this woman sitting next to me was so obviously dragged there by her husband. She sat and looked pitiful almost the entire time while everyone around her stood, and in all honesty her husband only got excited for TSoR too. Makes you wonder why these folks even bother going to a RUSH show, much less purchase tickets within the first 15 rows!

  6. QUOTE (USB Connector @ Oct 15 2012, 07:37 PM) That's awesome to hear, but please change your title to keep songs out. People who do not want spoilers can still see it from the main page. Please...who WOULDN'T predict that Anarchist would be played?
  7. QUOTE (hughes&kettner @ Sep 24 2012, 05:23 AM) QUOTE (Alchemical @ Sep 16 2012, 01:58 AM) It's a rock concert, a few rotten apples in the bunch are to be expected. Don't let them spoil your time. But STILL...I will say it isn't pleasant to be surrounded by inebriated, borderline belligerent mid-40s douchebags screaming, "PLAY RED BARCHETTTTTAA!!!" during most of the first set. So when you hit your mid 40's you'll also be a douche? By your own account, sounds like it. If not already. What makes you think that? Having an opinion is being douchey now?
  8. Rather not hear Geddy strain his voice, thanks.
  9. QUOTE (SchemingDemon @ Sep 21 2012, 05:00 PM) QUOTE (Alchemical @ Sep 21 2012, 04:58 PM) No, because then Anonymous would flood the submissions with votes for Dog Years, Rivendell, Tai Shan, You Bet Your Life, Superconductor and Virtuality. I'd still love the show I'd be in the crowd pumping my fists "DOOOOOOGGGG YEARSSSSSS!" "For every sad sooooon of a biiitch!"

  11. QUOTE (Nate1647 @ Sep 18 2012, 06:08 PM) I can only narrow it down to what I feel are their 10 greatest songs, for a combination of all reasons. La Villa Strangiato The Spirit of Radio Red Barchetta YYZ Vital Signs Subdivisions Marathon Clockwork Angels The Anarchist The Garden Quite a bizzare list, I know, but I think that this list really demonstrates their best efforts. That's an awesome list actually...most of those are definitely in my Top 20.
  12. I swear Geddy says "Wakey, wakey!" instead of "Awake and aching" in Seven Cities of Gold.
  13. I don't think so. The boys are just very fond of that era and probably consider it their "prime". Didn't Geddy himself say that PoW was his favorite album they've put out?
  14. QUOTE (tangy @ Sep 17 2012, 02:48 PM) think i will sit that one out. an army of dudes raising their arms as ged sings about goddesses will most likely not be synchronized or graceful.....
  15. QUOTE (big lou @ Sep 17 2012, 11:27 AM)If it was 1985 and time was no issue, I would be happy if they gave these a rest: TSOR YYZ Tom Sawyer Bravado But then I would probably like to see them brought back. Still love the new setlist but am always eager for them to dig deep. Sadly, time is running short. (ok - bravado can go forever) Bravado existed in 1985?! THE SPACE-TIME CONTINUUM IS AMISS!

  17. QUOTE (Cygnusss @ Sep 16 2012, 02:20 AM) 2.) Noticed a rather sexy younger woman dancing to Where's My Thing like it was pole dance song. Hilarious, and I had the weirdest boner. Jk. Admit it, you weren't kidding.
