My town is famous for the Boyd & Parker ambush. They were a part of the Sullivan expedition and were captured and killed by Native Americans along with 15 of their men. Boyd infamously had his intestines tied to a tree and was forced to run around it until he died. Fun piece of local history. Oh, as well as the creation of the Red Cross & the Pledge of Allegiance. All originated from this small county.

I've been sober of ponies for two months. I felt the urge to listen to "Smile" today after hearing a few seconds of it earlier today. Now several hours later, I'm off the wagon.

Soon, I cannot wait.

Ok, last night this song clicked, no longer my least favorite. Same with The Garden (I liked this one a bit but something hit me last night). I really like how this album gross with each listen. I wasn't very impressed the first time, but it my opinion changed after another listen or two. I'm also happy to say I have no favorite song, they're all so good.

Good stuff, I gotta listen to more of their early stuff.

I had to miss a bunch of grad parties today. I had family over and it would have been rude to leave. Who knows, maybe those kids were with families or spread throughout many different parties.

When I was keeping track, I listened to it 8 times, and that was before the release. I'd say 16-17 would be good now. Headlong Flight probably has a good 60 listens now. Caravan & BU2B I didn't listen to much, I bought them a bit late. If you add those (including live versions), then it may be around 30 for each.

They didn't write all of each others parts. Near the end, Alex took over guitar and Geddy took over bass again.

It took a few hours to finish editing in Photoshop, then I did a trace on Adobe Illustrator. I used the clocks from the Caravan Single, the gyroscope thingy in the art book, and threw in some angel silhouettes too.
