I used to use it a lot more. Now with Spotify I don't really need it. Maybe for certain bands that are on labels that aren't on Spotify. Otherwise, don't need it. Was nice when I needed it though.

I love Mastodon. Glad to see their is a decent following on the Rush forum. Kinda not sure what to think about the new stuff. It's different than their old stuff that's for sure. Even a bit different from Crack the Skye. As far as the tour is concerned, definitely bummed that there's no Arizona date. And it's going to be tough during the middle of the week to drive out of state. Gonna have to figure something out.

So a few days back I was looking in my astronomy book and was in the index of the book. I was looking for a particular term and ended up coming across Cygnus X-1. I smiled and thought "How cool is that?" I didn't know that Cygnus X-1 might actually be based on a real black hole. Just thought this was worth sharing. Sometimes it's cool how you come across Rush references in everyday life.

Well it's definitely not The Spirit of Radio

The riffs on the album are just immense. Great opening track as well. It is a fantastic album for sure. Nothin like Xanadu or Cygnus X-1.

They're coming here to Arizona so I'll probably go and see them seeing as Pink Floyd is probably my all-time favorite band.

Xanadu! Seriously one of the most epic tracks that I've ever heard. Cygnus is no slouch either, but I don't think it tops Xanadu. Xanadu is just unbelievable.

It was great. I really didn't know too much of their music when I saw them, and I still don't know most of it, but I am becoming familar with more and more of it now. Still though, I enjoyed the experience. It was great. And when they ripped into Subdivisions I was ecstatic. Really great night for me and it was even better because I talked to a couple of audience members around me about their thoughts on Rush and other music. Cool night for sure and I hope to see them in the future many more times (as long as they keep touring).

I would say growth in the music entrepreneur's sense of the word. I am constantly obtaining new music now and the Rush listening is certainly as a result of that. But I feel that in my young age I am really growing a lot right now. I can certainly see myself using it for healing in the future. But for now, certainly growth.

From what I've seen, and I'm a relatively new Rush fan, most of Neil's lyrics that I've seen are pretty great. Of course like any other lyricist, some lyrics will be better than others. But the vast majority that I've read and heard are pretty great. I think he should be higher up.
