  4. QUOTE (LyndseyG @ Aug 27 2011, 06:38 PM) This afternoon it was In The Valley from Necromancer, specifically "I am born, I am me, I am new, I am free, look at me, I am young, sight unseen, life unsung" which was switching with Oracle, the Dream " I stand atop a spiral stair, an oracle confronts me there" and "oh to tear the temples down, oh to change" Now it's Spindrift Don't want to sound like a teacher here but - 'In The Valley' is from 'The Fountain Of Lamneth' - in 'Oracle' the lyrics are: home to tear...home to change
  5. Sure I'll be your partner - but don't make too many demands
  6. Stupid Dream introduced me to PT so I voted for it. Great album. I saw them several times with the 'old' line-up and they always blew me away.
  7. QUOTE (laughedatbytime @ Aug 27 2011, 12:48 PM) Happy birthday Alex...I still remember when you spent your 57th at the MN State Fair playing one incredible show! +1 and Cheers from Germany
  8. YEAH - This was a night I will never forget. I flew in from Germany without a ticket and ended in the FRONT ROW of the Qwest Center. I bought the ticket on the street for 125. I'm a lucky bastard. Whilst rockin' very hard Alex noticed my german flag and he mouthed: 'Where are you from?' I said or screamed: 'Germany' - when the boys came out for the encore Al threw me a 'Slobovich' shirt. - unforgetable!!!
  9. DVD/BluRay will be released on 10th October. Can't wait to see this.

  16. I saw them looong time ago opening for Spock's Beard and Dream Theater (early 90's). Those guys were awesome. I remember seeing them in a small club (maybe 100 people in the audience) on their first Germany tour. They just had released their excellent debut 'A Blueprint Of The World'. We arrived very early and had the chance to meet the guys and see the soundcheck - it was an unforgetable night. Lack of material made them play a few covers that night and... - man they nailed 'Tom Sawyer' as an encore. Ah, those were the days... Grand Designer - good to read you're still with us!
  17. Thr rhythm guitar at the end of 'The Necromancer' sounds like 'Won't Get Fooled Again' by The Who. Exactly the same three chords.
  18. I don't think (hope) that this is the final cover art.
