Your Profile Name and how it relates to Rush, if it does...

I'm a luthier and I work on Alex's guitars! -
Yeah....and he used the Hentor Sportscaster!

Don't know about the other two....but I have the inside scoop that one day outside of the SRO office in Toronto some nutcase Rush fan chained himself to the gate and threatened to start cutting off his fingers one at a time unless they met his demands. He was the "Digital Man".

I think their performances are fine. The mix? ummmm..... I think their performances are fine. -
I love it! I think it's a great record. The only thing I would change would be the mastering....too much pressure, fatiguing to listen to. It's not the mix, it's the mastering.

Am I the only one who feels somewhat underwhelmed?

QUOTE (losingit2k @ Jun 21 2012, 01:15 PM) QUOTE (LerxstLuthier @ Jun 21 2012, 01:10 PM) It's the mastering of this CD that's the problem. You want to hear it the way it should sound? Get the vinyl! Yeah, you missing alot of clicks and pops when you listen to the cd. I take care of my vinyl. No clicks and pops. My point was that not only does vinyl just sound way better, it's also not brickwall limited in the mastering. -

Well, I love this record. I've always said that my number 1 desert island record is moving pictures. This is the best thing I've heard since then. -
Hi there, I have some stuff I want to sell (old Lifeson gear and such). Is there an appropriate place here to list and sell stuff? Like perhaps a classified section? Thanks p.s. the spell check flagged the word "lifeson"!

Hey everybody! Got such a great response when I posted the vid of my band playing YYZ and Lakeside Park I thought I'd put up some more footage. This one is of my band covering Limelight and also one of our original tunes. And if anyone is interested, I know it's not Rush, but here's another clip from the same gig where we are playing a Led Zep / Robert Plant medley. We start off with "In The Evening" and then "Carouselambra" from In Through The Out Door, then we did a Plant tune just to keep the ladies in the crowd happy and dancey Then finish off with "Good Times, Bad Times" Ice Nine - Led Zep & Plant medley Hope you like it! Cheers
