Bought 3rd row Geddy side seats for Pittsburgh last night! Of course, I now have to sell the ones I bought earlier, but they're decent, so I'm pretty hopeful. I just need to get them in the mail...

My old boss was the bad one. We weren't supposed to speak to each other, and weren't to be heard by him even when speaking to customers. Let me tell you how difficult this is when both you and your customers are hard of hearing! If he heard you, he'd come out of his office ranting, "ABSOLUTELY NO TALKING!" Luckily, he left the office a lot. It was especially hard on people who ate lunch with him, because you were not allowed to talk or make noise. Our branch had a bad reputation as being the one where you weren't allowed to talk. If you disobeyed, he came and stood behind you and stared at your back at every free moment, or stood across the room and stared at you. Luckily, the new guy is louder than we are Of course, the assistant manager is still...no comment...and he won't stand up to her, but still, things are a lot better, and we're counting down the six years until she retires.

Mine right now is hoping I can sell my Rush tickets that I replaced with better ones. Of course, they need to arrive in the mail first.

Way, way too many to list, because New Wave/synth rock is my absolute favorite, but Saved By Zero by the Fixx is my favorite non-Rush song.

Initially, it was Driven; over time, a little Earthshine is creeping in.

Geddy's bass stands out a bit - not just his playing, but the crispness of sound it has this time around. It's almost guitar-like and forms the perfect contrast with Alex's distorted guitar. All three put in a solid performance, of course.

Love it. Like others have said, it's a great contrast to the songs before and after it in the track listing. It also seems to have a feel of its time to it, in the BEST way, if that makes any sense. Maybe it's the mellotron, but even the way he sings it comes into play.

Snakes & Arrows by a wide margin. Then again, I like most Rush albums more than Snakes & Arrows by a decent margin.

Well, I found out from another TRFer that he had 2nd row last time and it was row B, so I went for the Row C tix fairly certain that they're third row! $350 isn't nearly as bad as some of the prices I saw! Only trouble is now, I have to wait for the tix I purchased earlier to arrive, and then sell them. They're good lower bowl on Geddy's side, and while I'm beyond excited to be in front of Geddy in the third row, I was hoping we could sit lower bowl for a couple shows (we sort of are in Bristow) . Toronto is the only show we have left to buy for, and I think I'm going to be lucky to get in on that one before it sells out, so I can't be picky!

The Weapon. I want to hear this song and a few others live the most out of ANY Rush album!

Two on Time Machine, once each leg. It should have been two on the second leg, but Toledo got rescheduled and I couldn't go. I promised myself I'd do more on the next tour to make up for it and for not seeing Rush for so long, and because I want to meet a bunch of people, go to different places, types of venues, and gatherings. This tour, it's five - it was going to be six, but RushCon get scheduled while I was planning, the Philly show conflicted with it, and I ended up scrapping that show.

So far, Hershey, PA from Syracuse, NY. This tour, I believe Bristow will be the farthest.

Does anyone know anything about seating at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh? I see platinum tix up for Row C. Are rows closest to the stage single lettered, or double? This could be the difference between 3rd row and 29th. Any help appreciated.
