  5. Round fifteen: A list of top eight cover songs. If anyone else wants to say something else about the amount of support to the cover songs, I can say for Rush's cover of the Seeker, as it wasn't getting anymore, and this has been a Rush related website, too.

  7. 7/11: Suburban Surf Club, Wheelbite, Waiver, Subtletitle, New York Nicks - Reason & Ruckus, Poughkeepsie, NY Several local bands. New York Nicks is a bassist/drummer duo from the Hudson Valley. They’re both named Nick, and their song titles reference 2000s Nickelodeon shows. Subtletitle is a Hudson Valley-based hardcore punk band. Waiver is a pop punk band from Long Island. Wheelbite is a pop punk band from downstate New York. Suburban Surf Club is a NYC and Connecticut-based “surfgaze” band. 7/17: “Weird Al” Yankovic, Puddles Pity Party - Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga Springs, NY I believe Weird Al needs no introduction here. There’s a good reason he’s the highest-selling comedy recording artist of all time. Puddles Pity Party is a singer who dresses as a whiteface clown. He’s been around for years, and his YouTube channel is quite popular. 7/18: Millington, The Snorts, E.R.I.E. - Empire Underground, Albany, NY Millington is a pop punk/ska punk band from Albany, NY, and one of my favorites. I’ve seen them live five times. The Snorts are a punk band from Albany, and I played a gig with them last year. E.R.I.E. is also a punk band from Albany. 7/22: The Offspring, Jimmy Eat World, New Found Glory - Lakeview Amphitheater, Syracuse, NY I’m gonna assumed most of you know who The Offspring are. They were one if the biggest punk bands from the mid-to-late 90s and early 2000s. They’ve been one of my top ten favorite bands for a long time. This will be my third time seeing them. Jimmy Eat World is a highly influential alternative/emo/punk band who were pretty popular in the early 2000s. New Found Glory is another pop punk band who was decently popular in the early-to-mid 2000s. 7/31: Kesha, Scissor Sisters, Rose Gray - Darien Lake Performing Arts Center, Darien, NY Kesha has been my favorite pop artist for a long time, and I’ve wanted to see her live for a long time. Over the years, she’s experimented with rock, country, electronic, polka, psychedelic, funk, and soul sounds. Scissor Sisters had some mainstream success in the 2000s. Their sound has elements of glam rock, disco, electronic and pop. Rose Gray is an up-and-coming pop singer, whose sound is influenced by house music. 9/26: Free Throw, Chase Petra, TRSH - Montage Music Hall, Rochester, NY Free Throw is an emo band from Nashville, and another favorite of mine.
